My book still hasn't arrived:(. Just waiting and waiting but meanwhile I have redone my perfect week and did brainstorming on 2 of the things I really want to achieve and I think it's reasonable within a month or so. My purse is tidy though it made me realize that I need a new one and my workbag is done as well.0

Should I be given a gold (or purple sequined) star or be pitied for the fact that I turn out my handbag roughly once a week so there was nothing outrageous in there?!?
As part of a post that I lost yesterday, I wanted to publicly thank Happytogetdebtfree and Cherisong for coming to my aid for my Universe requests last week re: laptop and VA career. You're both complete angels and I hope that one day I can help you or be able to "pay it forward" and help someone else with their needs xx
Thank you kittikins happy to be of assistanceyou never know what walk of life you come across and its nice when we can all help each other out... :A so thanks for the name title

Is this the book you were talking about???? I need to justify spending on the book and postage out of my very megre £70 food budget thats almost 10%......£11 would feed us for several days, I budget approx £2.50 a day for food.........three to four days of meat of some kind the other days things like tonights supper or last nights which was the last of Sundays chicken made into fricassee with rice and peas.
Yes that's the one, I'm trying to live on a similar budget to you and I'm finding it very difficult. Lots of it goes on petrol.I'm off to the library later, who's the auther? The Secret is Rhonda Byrne
"The Secret" and "The Power" are both by Rhonda Byrne. "The Power" is her new book. There are loads of books about the Secret/Law of Attraction but it was Rhonda Byrne that made the theory into a bestseller.
Lots of people think other Law of attraction books are better, in the same way we seem to prefer Memorygirl's book to Tony Buzan.
Try bookdepository for books, sometimes it's cheaper and postage is free.
We need an "Eat,Pray,Love" thread I think:) I love Julia Roberts too so I really can't wait.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
OK, this is my first ever go at posting on a forum. How do I engage my OH in all this change, and what's more how about the kids?0

Not sue that you can force changes on other people, we are all mostly working on ourselves. You'd probably need to package it as something other than self-help, men don't like that term at all generally.
You could mind map out everybody's commitments/appointments for the week and stick it on the fridge without explaining why other than getting organized. That could be useful for everyone in the house.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
Ok some random thoughts from me as occurred whilst reading the thread today
Why did I buy the book - mainly to help MG and also to help my son - I like helping people but find it hard to accept help myself:o
Clearing out purse etc. I did this before I went away for the weekend don't remember decluttering anything interesting sorry
The 30 day challenge my greatest want I can do nothing about except send out positive thoughts to the universe so am I allowed to do that (and the time schedule is pretty spot on) and at the same time work on my business aims full throttle too or is that cheating?
I have started the secret and I am finding it really exciting particularly enjoyed the weight loss part as that has pretty much summed up what has happened with my recent weightloss it started with a positive change with my new clothes and I know when I will be at my perfect weight and so far everything is going to plan:T
Julia Roberts is my favourite I love Pretty Woman I want to wear a dress like hers from the film so I will have to put out positive thoughts that I get invited to a posh do when I am my perfect weight. I will definitely be going to see the film.
Love the pass it forward posts.
Think that's the end of my ramblings good to see KC on board I knew she would get it.
Love to all and positive vibes for all your greatest desires

As I'm trying to catch up, does it matter if I don't do the challenges in order? Some are just bit easier than others...I might have time to catch up properly over the weekend. Hoping so anyway.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

aww she should have worn it
. I've got some more stuff here for her (to keep) but bit skint at the moment (thought it was my dla week and its my no money week
) So will send when i get paid I got some 14's that are too big now too will they fit her?
She's probably more of a 16 at the moment, but we're both doing our best to lose a bit of weight
I know all about no money weeks. Most weeks are a bit like that at the moment here. I tell you what, you keep the stuff, and if she does manage to get down to a 14, I'll give you a shout. Saves any spending on postage at the moment hunIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
