OMG MG, I was away for 11 days, only 11 days. I came back to find I was 52 pages behind, fine. Started to catch up, orderd your fantastic book. Just found out I was away for the most exciting 11 days:eek:. Mystery man from US, new blog ( I have joined, fab)you have done so much on there already:T, still 44 pages to get though here

I am so far behind there is only 1 thing to do. Put my life on hold get a cup of tea and have an afternoon of indulgence reading the blog and here. It is money saving as all the words of wisdom are free education and I have used loads of it for my home and work life.

Well done everyone this is the best social club ever, I need to catch up so I can join in and not be a week behind:T

Yep, that's how I felt after not reading a diary only for one week:rotfl:. Good luck catching up!

Oh if only the portfolio was pleasant! I need to trail around my former employers asking them to sign bits of my portfolio to prove I worked there and my work was well done. And although I left most places without burning bridges, a lot can change in 10 years!! They may have forgotten me, decided my work was pants and not at all useful etc et al. That is what I am scared of most.

However... I have downloaded all the papers I need and I am going to read through them today while I am at work. Because... I HAVE FINISHED MY TO DO LIST AT WORK!!:eek: I am in total shock, because normally it is as long as I am tall!! :rotfl:

Do your portfolio and get on with it! :) It'll be fine and it'll lead to a better future!

    This is so motivational!

I found this thread on Monday and I have just caught up last night.

I downloaded the secret from audible, and have been listening, and started to do the challenges from Mr Big.

What has persuaded me to de-lurk?

Well I'm 7 months pregnant and I decided to focus on getting my home ready, to be organised, with warmth and laughter, and to do it for my 30 day challenge. One of the things I have asked for is was to get my understair space to be split into a cupboard, which would have a new door, in what was the hall wall.

My brother this morning knocked out the space, and we had just returned from buying the doorframe when I popped on for an up date when I saw the quote!

    quote of the day

"follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there was once only walls"

Now if thats not a sign I don't know what is:rotfl:

    Winky x x x
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before

Should I be given a gold (or purple sequined) star or be pitied for the fact that I turn out my handbag roughly once a week so there was nothing outrageous in there?!?

As part of a post that I lost yesterday, I wanted to publicly thank Happytogetdebtfree and Cherisong for coming to my aid for my Universe requests last week re: laptop and VA career. You're both complete angels and I hope that one day I can help you or be able to "pay it forward" and help someone else with their needs xx

Thanks for the name check I feel really valued now!

(This is another thing that I learned to do on my springboard course, accept praise or compliments in the good grace that they are offered. How many of us brush off compliments with a remarks such as "oh it was only" and how many of us get irritated when somebody says that to us. I was given the head tape of "Thank you (now step away from the thanks before you add a butt) It still doesnt come naturally but I do try.

As for paying it forward, I am a big believer in this which is why, if I have anything that I feel is useful to somebody else I am more than happy to share it. Kittikins, good luck with all you do, who knows we might be able to share contacts etc in the future.

No Probs, the 16's are too big so someone else having them they won't go to waste.

The 14 will give her an incentive to get into them, thats what worked for me :) i'm nearly in a size 12 now so if dd gets into a 14 she can have a new wardrobe

MG: I found your diary on Monday by accident! I am hooked and feel it was meant to be. I am on page 50 so far and loving every minute.

You are a true insperation and already I feel so much more positive.
I hope when I catch up I can contribute more and must say I feel the universe was kind to me on Monday.
    Thank you.

  • hello everyone - i'm running late tonight because i've got a grumpy toddler. however one big boy bathed, one little boy heading that way in a moment (and then an early bed hopefully)

we are late because we took a walk around to the ice-cream shop and we had desert before we came home to eat dinner. We bought cones and ate them playing on the swings in the late summer sunshine.

I've been bouncing between mind-maps and computer all day - mr b is keeping me on my toes tapping every smidge of creativity and exploring every angle. i'm also a little way down the route of pulling together a powerful team to help me create an exciting business.

two wonderful things happened today - i've been invited to go to china for a week in december to arbit a Memory tournament and one of our world memory champions has asked me to create a couple of mindmaps for his new book.

it seems that news may be filtering out that i will be returning to work soon - :j:j:j

so enough of my ramblings - just to let you know that Mr Big newest challenge has just been posted up on the blog if you wantot wander over and have a go.

i wil be back when grumpy toddler is clean grumpy toddler:rotfl:
