I might still fancy the chaps in their dress uniforms, but not sure I ever really fancied the actual nursing bit :o

I wanted to be an actor!!! I also used to put on plays and gather all of my friends into our back yard and boss them around telling them where to stand, how to speak, what to wear, how to walk. I would turn the yard into a stage by putting blankets over the washing line for curtains and then I would get all the parents to pay 50p to come and watch us. The money would go to the local jumbulance trips to Lourdes. Mmmmm maybe that is why they always called me a bossy boots :rotfl::rotfl:

I still like to act nowadays (OH would call it acting up) but it is usually me acting all confident when in fact I am a quivering wreck about doing a presentation or delivering a training session or speech

Glad you've had such a good day MG and are going from strength to strength!

I like this new challenge as I've never stopped dreaming! I have numerous "happy places" that I go to when the going gets tough. It will be nice to really focus on them and I'm guessing make some of them reality one day. What I like most about Mr Big is that we're being forced bring into sharp focus thoughts we mostly only have time to allow to drift through our daily lives. It feels very indulgent to be able to "colour them in" a bit and define our dreams. Powerful stuff.

Bob, your posts make me laugh so much! :D

your right macgirl - he has this nack of pulling your "background noise" that you usually tune out and brings it into symphony sharp clarity. All this stuff that comes out is in us already (stroppy bits too) - but he doesn't let us squirm off the hook but posing exactlythe right question.

I'm a bit confused about the Perfect Week .... is it reality as we want it to be in a year's time or so? Is it fantasy?

OMG MG, I was away for 11 days, only 11 days. I came back to find I was 52 pages behind, fine. Started to catch up, orderd your fantastic book. Just found out I was away for the most exciting 11 days:eek:. Mystery man from US, new blog ( I have joined, fab)you have done so much on there already:T, still 44 pages to get though here

I am so far behind there is only 1 thing to do. Put my life on hold get a cup of tea and have an afternoon of indulgence reading the blog and here. It is money saving as all the words of wisdom are free education and I have used loads of it for my home and work life.

Well done everyone this is the best social club ever, I need to catch up so I can join in and not be a week behind:T

welcome back knitwit - im afraid it does seem to have taken on a life of its own recently - but i think we are having fun too.

just jump back in where you can and play

complete fantasy - mine has me in about 20 different time zones :D

what the excercise allowed me to do was to start picking apart my free-wheeling fantasy and decide which bits i really do want to have, as opposed to just considering it all a daydream and therefore all unobtainable.

Amongst the wide ranging fantasy there are several bits that willsoon be reality - and that means i am building a life so far removed from where i was - and so much closer to the "perfect" fantasy life.

Don't edit yourself - just write it all out and then you can start the unpicking process.
