I am finding with the letter to myself thing I am working out ways to remove all these things now, which is 1) distracting 2)demoralising...... and causing a big sort sort of oh why is my life so stupid feeling!:rotfl:
I mean I spent an hour this morning working out how to fit all my stuff under the bed. An hour. Your Procastination Queen is here.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

(does that count as 'help', and therefore mean that MG has to say yes??? :rotfl:)
I just worked out my numbers again - £35.42 an hour is what I'm aiming for. Which is ludicrously 'low' - but that's because I only work 14.8 hours a week at the minute :rotfl: So if it goes on my actual pro rata salary (before tax - the other number was based on actual income after tax)), it would be £109.70. Hmmm. If I earned £109 an hour I'd only have to work 1.5 hours a week - now that sounds appealing! :rotfl:
mr big has been having me do something similar today. if my target is £88 per hour - how many days per year would you actually have to work if you were earning
£100 per hour
£150 per hour and so on
then he freaked me out and said - top keynote speakers in the us get paid $30,000 per hour. !!!!!! - thats like £15000 per hour!!!!!
think he just likes scaring me sometimes:D
but it would mean only working 5.3 hours every year :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Having had yet another stressy/irritating work day today, I have to take this all seriously and start realising my potential and get away from what I'm doing now!

I cant keep up with the goings on here. I need the forums to go down for a day, but still be readable so I can catch up
I worked out my hourly rate, based on part time, term time only working, and it was £45. Hmmm how to get that
I have found a way of getting some free regular income today. More like £50 every other month than every hour though unfortunately
You still havent told me where I can get your book MGIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

In response to Mr Big's request for feedback re the books - I bought both, and I would have been happy to pay £16 for the Student Survival Guide which wins out in the attractiveness (and memorable-ness) stakes as it is full colour throughout.
Suggestions for the next print run:
1) I believe it is possible to have a spine binding which opens out flatter, without stressing the spine. I wouldn't suggest spiral binding as you would lose the visual impact on bookshelves of the title and author details on the spine - which often jump out at me when browsing in bookshops, or for locating books here at home.
2) The size is just right - for popping in schoolbags, briefcases or handbags.
3) Any chance of the business version being produced in full glorious technicolor next time it is printed? And of course when reprinted and fully updated, your websites, email etc would be in both books. And there would be an ebook version - and Kindle.
4) Other products - online videos, or dvd's to buy showing mindmaps being created etc would be great. Also, dvd's would exploit the use of sound, rhythm and song to aid memory. I'm sure you're well ahead with these sort of ideas... a children's box game based on memory would be fun and educational.
I did some brain dumping today and have 6 mindmaps of future possibilities for myself - they didn't take long and were such fun to do! My notebook is in my handbag to capture arising ideas...
The last few days (since Sunday) have been literally miraculous for me. A new life with new possibilities is under serious consideration, and there have been some incredible synchronicities pointing the way forward. This Sunday I go to Aberdeen for the next step in the process (a development which only presented itself this afternoon), with more to come later in the month.
It's true to say, that when you change focus/perception, your world changes and flow happens. I'm just beginning to experience exactly that - for which I have you and Mr Big to thank.
thanks for that groatie queen - sound like your life is in the explosive stages too.
i hope this next opportunity is the one for you - fill us in when or if you can............... and as for a trip to Aberdeen - thats where i was born, although as a speaker over the years my accent has softened considerably.
My grannie used to call me her "silver darlin" which i though was lovely until i found out she was calling me a herring :rotfl: - don't know whatmade me think of that.
Be lucky

so just use words scaredy-cat - really its no biggie;)
i use loads of pictures because as a dyslexic i find them really easy to spell:rotfl: - but Barry Buzan (tony's brother) mind maps all the time and i have never seen a picture anywhere near any of his.
Just using the whole radiant, see it all in one snapshot structure improves your memory so much anyway - the using of pictures is like the cherry on a very yummy cake:D
go on - give it a go, you know you want to;)
