I think we should have some sort of phrase for our signatures, I'm already a DFW nerd, but would love to be a MG trail follower.
hon - i used to read your signature as "what a wit" as opposed to what it actually says, so i nominate you to come up with a suitable strapline - :rotfl:

Rae_dancer wrote: »Hello Memory Girl,
I have been reading this thread since the beginning when I was completely new to the forum site. I tried reading a few threads and this has become my favourite. I look forward to coming home in the evening to read the latest goings on, and I have followed your story with great interest. Even though this is my first post, I feel following this thread has helped me to feel a lot less lonely and I can see how positive it can be for people. I am now feeling inspired by you to take control and make my life the life I want. I have bought 'The Secret' but I am yet to read it. It's on the 'to do list'! I really wanted to let you know that it is easy to see what a positive impact you are having on the other posters on this thread, but also that there are probably a lot of people like me, following your journey from a distance, and you are making a difference to us too
Keep up the great work!
Rae

I find your diary one of the most uplifting on here - a lot of that is due to the other contributers too but it is great when that can be harnessed like it is in this thread and put to good use... I love it when MSEers can help each other out....
So please keep posting!
i agree - its magical what a few motivated people working together can achieve. i hope that everyone benefits from our mystery man working his juju over the next few months because nothing brightens my day as much as hearing about other peoples successes.

Good evening Memorygirl, good evening all,
several things, really.
1) MG, going with the flow is one of the laws of the Universe - the Law of Rhythm which says that the Universe and everything in it have a rhythm; when we learn to hear and follow it things come easy and are fun.
2) My verdict on the book. I have to examine a PhD thesis next week and the preparation for this kind of thing normally takes 3-4 days (including thinking time, of course). Using the techniques suggested in MG's book I am finished in 6 hours and 27 minutes. There is a bit more to do but it should take no more than an hour or so. Thus it is a big, fat thimbs up from me - tried and tested.
3) It is confirmed - I am a newfound baking Godess (with some help from my friends) but making ciabatta bread is not my strongest point. I am sure it is something silly I do (or don't) but it sticks to the baking paper. Help!
4) Tomorrow I am out - have to get on a plane at 6.40 am and will be back past 9 pm. I can try and borrow a computer to see what you are all up to from someone at this gathering but suspect they are never going to forgive me. But I'll be back!
Look after yourselves and the Universe be with you.

Hi MG and everyone. I wanted to congratulate you MG on your fantastic approach to life, and the wonderful things that are beginning to happen for you! I too was a lurker, but felt I just had to let you all know my recent experience. I live with DH, DS1 (15) and DS2 (10) at home and we are not affluent by any means and still have a bit of a way to go to clear some debts. I was finding it overwhelming until I started reading this thread about five days ago. I began reading at the end – then started at the beginning and have made it to the end and also page 11 (IYSWIM). That same day I watched a film called “The Celestine Prophecy”, which is a film about the affects of karma and giving out positive energy. After watching I had to go to MR T’s and while there I bought a lottery ticket (something I never do). Checked it this morning and had won £10. Not a lot for most people but a godsend to us. DS2 and I decided to go swimming this morning (both of us needing to get more active) (using the money) but when we got there found out it was a free swimming day. So think someone somewhere has been looking out for us too! Will now put the £10 in a pot and use to pay more towards one of the outstanding bills. I have always believed in trying to do at least one nice thing for someone a day, but had not really felt I was worth receiving anything back – a typical don’t ask person, but thanks to MG for all the inspiration, I can now see so many ways forward! THANK YOU THANKYOU THANKYOU. I too like the 15 minute working/relaxing/working scheme. I think by starting small mounds the bigger hills don't look so big and the mountains - once un scalable don't look so bad either.
Sorry for the ramble
thats a fantastic story - so you just ramble on love
sometimes i think martin should take all these fabulous stories and make them his next book - its not ONLY about moneysaving, its about changing people lives too.
