Today is frantic friday - as school finishes at lunchtime then we take them all swimming in the afternoon - and although we have done it ever friday for the last i don't know how many years it always catches me unawares.
Washing is out on the line, kids are dressed and fed, lunches are packed, breadmaker is set to make pizza dough for tea, video is chosen for our family film night and ...............
..............last night i went to let the cats out and there was a gift-wrapped bottle of wine on the step - with a printed card that said xxx
now i know its not clootiesmum or any of my other real life pals - cos they are all mums and it would likely to be a bottle of milk and a dozen eggs:D:D
so the question is???????????????
do you think gabriel byrne has finally tracked down my address??:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Think i might just have a glass tonight when watching the muppets with the kids.
Its a mystery scooby doo !!!!!!!!!!!!!

OOh you must be better at ordering from the Universe then- goes off to edit note under pillow:D:rotfl:
Enjoy the vino though- you will need a glass after such a busy day:D:beer:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

Hi Memory Girl,
I have been following/stalking (gonna call it stollowing!) your Diary for months (not good at posting comments I am afraid... just love reading them). So I have finally come out of the wood work to say I am totally inspired! From capsule wardrobes to assembling shelves at school after you found the new school!, from your book to the hilarious scenario (I know it wasnt funny but just picturing it was IYSWIM) of you using the phone at the dss and parking your little lads there equipped for a long stint!.. From your home made pittas, stovies, your 15 minute spurts of housework, your experience with HTH (what a moron), your date with a footballer, 71p and 3 nappies, make do and mend, garden vegetables... leaf tree mortgage, recipes, and most of all the sunny disposition and positive attitude you have towards new ventures and as a mummy. Your style of writing makes me want to keep reading and reading. I am gonna start living in your world where every cloud has a silver lining.
I belly laff endlessly at the humour that is threaded thru this diary by every contributer..... Just wanted to share that with you all.
Love and laffter

Got back from work tonight and what do you think was waiting for me on my desk? The Book! Sacrifice is called for and I am going to sacrifice my run so that I can start reading it. If I don't re-appear for couple of days please do not panic - I am likely to be practicing in my usual obsesive fashion.
