Hi LTL & Jackie, Please may I ask what advice this was? My Wii won't play certain games that the kids like (it seems to jump or skip). Have tried a cleaning disc, but no luck. Any hints and tips would be MUCH appreciated.

    Thanks :j

Please don't say that  Ours is doing the same as yours, it freezes too. Nintendo told me it would be around £50 to repair so we will have to do that if the disc doesn't work.

Bitsy....my OH is hopeless with money so he now has his 'pocketmoney' which goes into his account and he has no card for joint account....he pays for anything he wants out of his money, including steak ( for both of us!) if he fancies it for his dinner, and most meals that we eat out....the words budget, cut back etc are the filthiest words in the English language as far as he is concerned.

Anniestar....poor oul Gerry Ryan, found dead in his apartment on Friday morning....had called in the night before to say he would not be in for radio show as he wasn't feeling well....heart attack is suspected, postmortem done to-day and funeral is on Thursday... books of condolences in Mansion House and people posting their sadness on various websites, didn't ever listen to his show, but he seems to have had a hugely positive influence on many strangers' lives. Sorry everybody for tangent, blame Annie.

    Night all, sleep well

Butterfly Brain, no I am going to see the man at "my" garage tomorrow for the full diagnosis, and then will see the other one. I've already emailed their head office advising I am seeking a second opinion, so that they can't say I took too long to get back to them.

Candygirl what can I say except :silenced::silenced::silenced::silenced: :rotfl::dance::dance::dance:

    Evening everyone :hello:

Am shattered tonight and don't feel like I've stopped since 7am so I'm off to bed in a tic. :o
Worked until 3 then had a quick meeting at the school, followed by bank and tesco shop, cooked chicken biryiani for tonight, mushroom stroganoff for tommorrow, broth for Thursday as well as a big bowl of tuna and sprouting bean salad for everyone's lunches tommorrow and some individual fruit jellies for the girls' packed lunches. Washing machine is just finishing and will be hung up before bed and dishwasher is loaded and ready to go. Need some sleep as work tommorrow will be busy and is immediately followed by the school gardening club.
Anyway, that's my fascinating day. :D

I did read the thread but retained nothing. Sorry. :o

    Sleep tight everyone.
