Items being stolen off my car

Over the years I've had wipers,wheel trims and aerials nicked - most recently they have taken 2 centre caps off a set of golf gti alloys. I also have a golf with bbs alloys and although they haven't taken the alloys they have had a bloody good try to get them off and completely wrecked the wheel locking nuts,we didn't find out until we went to get new tyres after it failed its mot and the garage where unable to remove the wheels because the locking nuts had been so damaged.
We had to go to the local gypsy site and ask for there help as we where told that one particular guy there had the equipment to get them off !
Our old next door neighbours about fifteen years ago actually had their wheels stolen ,they went out one morning to find their ford fiesta propped up on bricks !
