My main thought was to get insured on my mums car and still be able to drive my Dads? obviously save money that way and it would be like I originally was ie: drivong my Pegeout but also driving my Dads? as trued aquote for my dads and it is double to what I was paying for the pegeout0

Keep your renewal invitation letter, the NCB should be good for 2 years should you ever buy/insure a car in your name during that period.
I take it you are a legitimate named driver on your mum and dad's policy, or were you just using the "Driving other cars" extension of your policy to use theirs?0 -

You drove it every day but haven't spotted how it's spelt?

If you don't have a car you shouldn't be renewing anything.I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

You'd have to be named on each of your parents' policies to continue driving those.I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

Your insurance should have been cancelled as soon as you sold the car.
Any driving other cars extension should not have been valid once you no longer had the insurable item (your car).
How old are you?I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

im 31 nearly 32, the car has only been sold a few weeks I weasnt sure the best route to go down, I thought the insurance company would contact me once the DVLA confirm its sold etc.
so basically the best option is to get insured on my mums and still be able to drive my dads> ie my mums will be much cheaper to get insured on0 -

No, named drivers don't get any cover to drive other cars. You'll have to be added to both policies separately.
The DVLA won't know who your insurer is, it's your responsibility to inform your insurers.I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

So cancel this policy now and then renew with my mums car and get named on both my mum and dads policy?
My dad is very ill now so he wont be driving his car again it was only me who drove it for the past few weeks and it only will be me who drives it now0 -

No. You can't have a policy if you haven't got a car.
Your mum's car should be insured by your mum and have you [STRIKE](and dad?)[/STRIKE] named on it.

Your dad's car should be insured by your dad and have you (and mum?) named on it.[/STRIKE]
You should have no insurance policy because you have nothing to insure.
