    :bdaycake:Happy birthday Triker!!:bdaycake:

    Hugs to carlsberggal, and macpep!

dusty -don't think I'm in despair, but apprehensive. I stood in the booth for about five minutes unable to make up my mind - as if it would matter in a constituency where the MP weighs his majority - and for the first time voted green, on the grounds that he was the only one who didn't have an education policy with which I violently disagreed. As good a reason as any, I felt.

I've done minimal flying today, as I've been shopping - my Dad's 82 today, DD is 18 tomorrow, and we have a big family lunch as well. I now have something to wear to it, and also the odd gift and card to offer....

    Cup of tea anyone?

Primary school teachers - is every child entitled to an IEP even in the absence of learning difficulties, please?

Off to declutter the election latest.

    that would be a no...

IEPs are implemented as a first step for a child (who would then possibly go on on the SEN register) ALTHOUGH they may not always only deal with educational problems but might be for health reasons or behaviour or a combination...
So for health issues it could be ensuring access to the curriculum for a child in a wheelchair, say, stating how/who/when the provision/support would be implemented and monitoring its effectiveness.
Behaviour it would be addressing the particular issues and usually saying what sanctions/rewards are to be allocated.
Basically IEPs are for special needs children but the needs might not be wholly educational IYSWIM.

Makes sense to me. I'll pass on the tea though - it doesn't go with buggritmilleniumhandshrimp takeaway and vino.

I am banned from collecting ebay stuff after DH went and collected reclaimed doors I bought from someone he felt was a very dodgy person .

Triker - Happy Birthday - you deserve it!

I have done the bare minimum since getting home, DH has plastered most of the new bathroom and has done a lovely job :A but there is plaster dust everywhere. Big, bad mess.

Oh joy of joy we have a leak somewhere on our water main, I can just tell this is going to be expensive, disruptive and unpleasant.

Tidying up the kitchen and that is it for today, I can't beleive it is only 18:38.
