mumof2~# it sounds like a man bonding thing, doing toppings together!!

Carlsb~~OH's son has has been out there for 3 tours now, spent 2 consecutive xmas plus his 21st there (pizza and a can of diet coke for his 21st b/day meal!! with a mate out the back of their pod), recently as well, we spent loads of time worrying, as he spent most of his time as 'top gun' ie the bloke you see sticking out of these armoured carriers at the top, which worried us even more, my thoughts are with you.

Valli~~ Don't go into the house, I never do if picking up ebay or freecycle stuff, I just say, I'll wait here if you don't mind, they may look at me oddly, but hey ho, it also means you don't have to spend hours chatting and making small talk, just say thank you, I must be on my way, and start to walk, wave as you go if need be.

Got a neighbour who has a dog, take that with you as well if you want. Security back up.

If someone gave you a present - several years ago - and you no longer have any use for it are you free to do what you like with it?

Yes, as long as you're subtle ;)
Apart from that paperwork whilst watching even more election coverage.

Have you got to the state of despair over the state of the govenment yet? :(

Triker - Happy Birthday tooooooooooooooooooooooo yooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Afternoon all,

    Happy Birthday Triker,
Penny - so good to see you again, we've missed you!
    soappie - happy holidays
Macpep - well done on going to the docs and to Jinky too
Carlsberggal - sending mental safety shield for DS and calming thoughts for you.

Not much flying done, but have managed to finish (the brain part anyway) a massive work project that has been weighing me down. Plus I did some painting and had DB and SIL here for a visit and managed 2 old lady walks, not bad going really.

    If it's gone it's done:

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
arrange for chimneys to be swept if necessary and services!
    Extras
    Freshen up any soft furnishings
Wipe the woodwork in these areas
Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
    Level One
    Wipe units and large appliances
    Extras
    Wipe down all the paintwork
    Wash the windows
Wednesday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level 1
Remove and wash bed linen and duvet covers.
Vacuum & turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen..
    Air the duvet
    Extras
Clean all the upstairs door frames
    Clean windows in these rooms
Thursday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level Two
    Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
    Level Three
Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins!
    Extras
Grab yourself a toothbrush and scrub the manky bits between the tiles
Friday - those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
    Level Three
    Clean 2 windows
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
    Extras
Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames!
