I agree with piggers & jinks it's perfectly natural .... you're a mum your thoughts are & should be first & foremost with Danny.
I think a lot of us on here are "feeling" this with you ..... you have lots of support .... big hugs, chin up make Danny as proud of you as you are of him :A xxx

    Evening all

Just a final update at the end of the weekend, before I settle down to school stuff. I'm quite pleased with what I've managed to achieve - another handful of bank holidays and this place would look so much better. ;)
Carlsberg - don't be ashamed about your feelings. I'm sure anyone else would feel the same in your position. Sending the very best wishes to you and your family.
I won't keep up with the thread for the rest of the week now, but I'll try to post my list once a day and look for toots' posts to see how everyone is. Take care, everyone.

I can't imagine the pain you are suffering. You are not bad at all. It's a natural reaction.

It makes my own problems with DD1 smoking seem very insignificant. I again decluttered a packet of 9 (ten pack) from her bag today (I didn't snoop, they were visible an she left it in the hall unzipped). She is in an absolutely foul mood but can't say anything to me or DH as she has stated she doesn't smoke. I have taken on board all the suggestions from my lovely flyladies. I wil give her no money for anything and will get up at the crack of dawn to make her a packed lunch so she can't ask for lunch money.

In my hhc at 3.30 I Finished Mondays List!!! DD2 and DS3 were trying to watch a disney film I had recorded and were so inspired by my manic flying that they ran to the duster drawer in the utility room and cleaned the bottom of the french door windows (I did the top). I LOVE my little ones :D:D:D.

Sorry, I've had to skim the thread thus far, so I'm sure I've missed loads of important stuff.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to those celebrating - sorry, I've got confused as to exactly who, so I'll play safe and not mention names.:o

    Carlsberggal big (((|HUG))).

Some of today's list is done, but not all, as we were out at Stowe Gardens most of the day and I'm just too knackered to do any more tonight. I'll try and catch up tomorrow if I can.:o

Thanks, as ever, to Flylady Central Command.:A

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level One
Open the windows and turn on some music! Patio door duly opened (it's the only “window” in the lounge) but I'll pass on the music, thanks.;)

Declutter the chairs, floor and fireplace Done
    Level Two
Vacuum the floor now it is visible Done (Mr LW)
Pile all hotspots into one heap and sort through it all.. File/shred as appropriate All hotspots clear; all filing and shredding up to date.
Clean and defluff the fire.. arrange for chimneys to be swept if necessary and services!
    Level Three
Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves! Done (Mr LW)
    Wipe sofas and dusty places
HHC in the hallway.. sort those coats and shoes and mess!! Clear out handbags and schoolbags! Hallway all tidy; no coats/shoes/bags live there, only bookcases.

    Extras

    1. Freshen up any soft furnishings
    2. Binbag dance... grab a bag fill it and fling it!
    3. Check insurance policies/tax/mot etc to see when the renewals are up! All up-to-date; due dates all noted in my PDA.
    4. Wipe the woodwork in these areas
Also, we're celebrating eight years since the fateful wine tasting event, so Mr LW is just heading to the kitchen to open the bottle of champagne we've treated ourselves to. Just to give you an idea, this is the man who once made it his New Year's Resolution to drink more champagne!:D

    :beer:Cheers, everyone.:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Went to see Gran tonight, she has had her hip pinned

She looked a LOT better than I thought, but she was totally out of it

Woke a couple of times and garbled some nonsense then fell back asleep

Asked the nurses to make sure she knew I had been in though

They said they may give a transfusion to pep her up a bit as she lost some blood during the op

I honestly wasnt sure whether she would make it through  so its all good so far:D:T
