Huge hugs to Carlsberggal - what you are feeling is so normal and please don't be hard on yourself. It's a horrible time for you.

Jinky, I'm glad your Gran is looking better, awful when older relatives are ill/have accidents isn't it.

Thifty, well done on your observation! :T

Wolfie, enjoy the celebration ;)! DH and I will have been together 12 years on Sunday 9th, so we're going out for a meal to celebrate (any excuse!)

Mumto5, sorry you're having problems with DD1. Seems like as they get older you still get the problems, just different sorts. All part of the joy of being a Mum eh!

My plan to sit down quietly with DH didn't work at all. I thought I'd just do a few odds and ends, pay DD's school milk etc etc and basically I've only just finished sorting things out! Pleased to say I've put lots of papers in for recycling, done all my filing (almost), filled out DD's form for transfer to the junior school, paid her sponsorship money, went down memory lane looking at her old records from 2004 (made me go all mushy!) and decluttered 12 old cheque books from 1997 to 2003 :o. Feel much more in control of the paperwork now.

Off to bed shortly, goodnight all xx
