Went out for the day on Sat and the boys really enjoyed themselves. Came back form MIL with tons of rhubarb :D chopped from her garden.

Today we took the boys out to spend they pocket money, DS2 saved up a fair whack and bought himself a scooter. He was so chuffed with himself.

Anyway list time. If its not on its done.

Well OH has had his custard (with chocolate brownies no less) so he is happy! I have worked my way down a pile of shredding and done a few random jobs on line that involved paying people mostly :(

I have also sorted and cleaned and reorganised the bathroom (got a nice over the door storage do dah from Argos and it means that my surfaces are now cleared so it looks MUCH better in there now!! I also found some nice 'smellies' I had forgotten about so I may go and have a nice soak in the bath in a bit! My back is aching from the gardening earlier so I think a bath will help before bed
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

Hi there - hope its OK to join...I am veering away these days from the longer MSE DFW diary threads and more towards lists:rotfl:..small DFW things and this thread being my kinda thing..otherwise I read too many threads and then end up never actually either having a clean house or being MSE:o

    Today I:

    - cleaned the kitchen
    - filled 2 bin bags with stuff the kids will never miss and chucked in the black bin - like this flylady idea v v v much:D
    - compost for the brown bin and compost for us
    - did 2 loads of washing and put on racks to dry
    - have a new henry vacuum which DD2 absolutely loves..she is treating like a pet and is hoovering 2 times a day..am LOVING it!!!:T

Will follow the weekly room list if I can next week as away rest of this for work so the squalor may have to continue for a little while more..

    Thanks all

It isn't bad at all.. it is perfecly natural.

You can feel empathy for the other mum and family.. if it was that you were unable to do then it would be bad. Being thankful for your loved ones and their safety is not a bad thing it shows your love for them.
