I'm in again this week. Not sure how much I'll get done, but will be pottering along here.
We've got a loft full of stuff to go through - a lot of it belongs to my sister (baby clothes she lent us), so unfortunately (for her!) we're now going to return them.
Haven't done much today, except tidy up around the place - 2 x WM and 2 x DW. Will be doing HHI after I've been for my run.
Hope everyone is well - sending hugs to anyone who needs one.
Take care
D

Well this is what I have managed to do today.....
- picked up 10 things from bedroom floor x 2
- pciked up 10 things from spare room
- picked up 10 things from the hall mainly shoes to go upstairs and old flyers from the post.
- put away or disposed of said items in bin or recycling
- brought mountains of hangers downstairs for the clean washing
- went shopping to Sainsbugs for the essentials like milk for my many mugs of tea!!
- Managed just about 10 minutes in the garden although DD did not help as promised so I tried to dig out the plants and managed about a square foot!!:( I also sliced my hand open on a particularly nasty rose bush that will not be replanted else where in the weed patch that is my garden..... It really hurts!! I am trying to dig up some of the silly narrow beds the chap here before us had for some of his 105 roses. They are only about a foot wide so cannot put anything decent in there and far too much for me to manage as the garden is huge - I am planning to grass these two beds so they look neater and give the little I can do to the other flower sorry weed beds. (I think I will tell everyone that I have a naturalized wild flower garden then the weeds won't matter - mmmmm I think the large amounts of ground elder will give me away!!)
PigPen - How big is the cupboard that you need to rehome?

I found them nigh on impossible to train TBH..
House is an absolute pit so tomorrow I will be getting to that.
Kids have been on a no tv day and have achieved so much. DS2 just finishing some coursework and DS3 tidying up the beyblades from the loft which he has played with all weekend.
Bathtime now (with the bathbombs DS2&3 made this morning) - hope my bath survives it!The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

The 'project' cupboard? it is about 4ft wide and maybe 2ft deep and sideboard height.. in fact very like a side board.. I do love it but will never get time to sort it out.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Have finished the list for today!!! YAY
My living room looks lovely, wish I could declutter my DD (20) who is lounging on the sofa making it look messy LOL
Have also started to clear my veggie bed and the garden is looking much better already!
OH wants pudding so I am off to make custard and find something to put it on (he's not fussy as long as there is custard!!!)Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
Was on way to IKEA yesterday, but a traffic accident meant the transport link was severed. Got McD's & tried to discreetly encourage DD to follow me down the road on foot. Of course, she argued, debated and generally wanted to know what was going on as she didn't want to catch 3 buses to get to IKEA the long way round, it was pouring with rain and she didn't want to go home and tidy her pit.
Eventually she shut up for a microsecond when we got outside the cinema. Not for Nanny McPhee, How to Train Your Dragon or anything else kiddified, though. The movie was my choice for once in my life!
Took her to see Iron Man 2. She loved it.
Interestingly enough, as any Marvel fans know, there is always a teaser scene after the credits. The only people remaining in their seats for the teaser were blokes about my age. And us two girlies. And I could explain about the scene on the way out, as she obviously hasn't had the experience of Thor comics. Cue raised eyebrows from random blokes as I tell her about Mjollnir, etc.
Actually, that probably says a lot about me.
Anyway, so no flying yesterday, and today
1. Rescued washing from hailstones and slung over tops of doors.
2. Chucked heap of paperwork from floor into big bag to be looked at later (like 2 months later in all honesty)
3. Completed an online exam component for one of my courses. Quantum Mechanics and Astrophysics unit. That's right folks - today it really was rocket science! Scarily enough, it only started making sense when DD played an AC/DC CD in her room. Never realised that drumming with my pen makes me think clearer, but there you go....
4. Fixed glitch in the Wii.
5. Remembered bread, sausages and toilet roll before the corner shop closed early.
So tonight shall be
a. Find bed underneath Chemistry, Quantum Mechanics and Physics books, 2 laptops, 3 pens, 5 cups that held coffee (caffeine is strictly for coursework days), a heap of clean washing and 3 pads of squared paper and lots of notes written in greek characters with marker pens (my way of consigning textbook guff into something tangible and understandable)
b. Start reading for next coursework due in Thursday at midday.
c. Wondering when I will ever get past the student stage and be able to call myself a scientist?
Oh well, I could always be cleaning instead!

PS KHs that were violent usually are the ones to threaten SS and violence to new partners. I expect SS are used to malicious calls like that (even school would be able to tell SS that it's all balls and they'll leave you alone, even if they get as far as checking it out in person)
I would, however, be extra suspicious of any unwarranted photographs being taken of the kids by KH/KH's bit of stuff/KH's b.o.s.'s friend incase it is part of a plan to make life more hellish than ever.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
