well it seems to have been one of those days for me, you know when everything you say is wrong and everything you touch breaks down!!!
The labelling machine at work is broken, and then the computer internet lead broke!!!! just got another replacement - the guy who did it said everyone seem to be saying the same thing today! must be something in the air:rolleyes: or some planet thing passing retrograde through my 12th house of uranus or whatever!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: (i know you will all understand that sentence cos women are always reading their stars!!!)

might be time to call it a day and go home me thinks.

Haven't been on site since Thursday, so impossible to do more than skim at high-speed! Have been VERY tied up with desperate friend, can't say any more, not my secrets/troubles to share.

(((((elona))))) at this sad and horrible time. Am still very raw from my darling mum's death just 5 months ago, so know what's ahead of you. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Catznine, so sorry for your troubles!! Hope DD is recovering now, and has not lost too much confidence. If it's any consolation re traffic police, ordinary met officers hate them, and find they treat colleagues pretty much as badly, or even worse!!! I'm sure some must be OK, get good and bad in all walks of life, but son insists they're universally bad!!

Sorry, there's been so much to take in I've forgoten most, should have taken notes!!

Moggins, you've obviously been upset by something, hope that's resolved now. ( I must be a bit slow, couldn't work out what it was)

Ageandjo, you really have got sh*tty neighbours haven't you? So sorry, it's a real drain on your physical and emotional health to be dealing with this on what seems to be almost daily basis. Someone must help you soon.

Must go but congrats for all the happy things and (((hugs))) for all the bad.

twink - you know i cant help thinking about you sometimes (in a nice way) cos your all the way up there in the Moray Firth (the very top of the land) and I'm all the way down the bottom of the land here in London, yet when you chat to people on here you dont think of the distance do you?

Why cant you eat the skin on homegrown ones? I always eat skin and am hoping to grow some next year, weather permitting, so was wondering. Is there something harmful about it??

Kaz, could never be ashamed of you, your efforts put me at the back of the class!! Have to say, before my friend rang Thursday afternoon/evening, was going great guns with a clearup. Although the house was a complete tip, I actually got it looking very good in just a few hours, because under the litter, the basics were there from our Flylady challenge earlier!!

Hoping to get going in a minute to restore some order, and start the ironing mountain!

Just reported it to the police AGAIN and they said seeing as it was the third time in 6 months they will send an officer out to me I am not holding my breath though as last time it too TEN phone calls and an e-mail to the chief inspector for them to come out to me:mad:
Told them on the phone that I have photographs taken of me and my car by the nasty neighbours and that I was worried, fingers crossed summat gets done

Ageandjo, what a horrible thing to happen, can you not get a transfer away from the area to another HA house?

Lillibet, that spread looked lovely and the cakes were sweet after all the problems you had with them.

Penny Pincher - you didn't say if you were going to the Warfarin clinic today - are you any better?

Home early today because I've got to clerk a meeting tonight, hopefully it won't last too long though. Need to go and empt the wm and clean the kitchen floor.
