Thanks zippy, yes we've got him a little present from the new baby, I'm hoping it will help him see the new arrival as a positive thing. Lol at the flying fairy!

  • At least your little boy is already at school Snaggles - I started first school just after my brother was born and was convinced that my mum was never coming back because she had a new baby and didn't need me any more!

Oh tumbleweed, bless you.....I'll be careful of that then when I take him to school.......

God it's a minefield being a parent, isn't it? How does anyone ever grow up sane and well adjusted??? :)

We don't - that is why we have all ended up on DFW :rotfl:

My theory is that all the sane people are locked up in institutions leaving us nutters to run the world!!

    Snaggles ((hugs))

I had a really bad hormonal moment a few nights ago where I was sobbing me heart out because I couldn't see how I could spread my love between 3 children - completely irrational but at the time I was heartbroken. Once I had calmed down I remembered that it was the same when I had DD and I was again convinced that I wouldn't have enough love for 2 of them !! I have spoken to the midwife and she says that 99% of parrents have the same worries !!!

My DS (5 nearly 6) also lives in Dr Who World !! He is convinced our kitten becomes a nurse at night and looks after the Face of Bo !!!! We have also had terrible problems with him at school and it turned out to be an immaturity thing - he shoukd have been in the year behind the one he is in because he missed the age cut oiff by 2 days but they decided to send him to school anyway :( I have spent 18 months fighting the school, teachers and the Counsil and about 3 weeks ago they moved him back a year. Since he has been moved he has become star of the class every day !!!

Might have to try the Omega Oil again - we bought him the EyeQ liquid !!

    Hope you are feeling ok.

    T xx

Hi Tashja, hope you are feeling okay, there's nothing worse than pregnancy hormones to make you stress about things is there?

I'm so glad you won your fight to get your son put into the correct class - hopefully he will settle in really quickly, it certainly sounds as though he is doing.

I had to laugh at your cat turning into a nurse and looking after the Face of Boe - this is the kind of thing I live with every day too lol! We haven't got a cat, but apparently we have daleks living on top of DS's wardrobe, and Oods in the cupboard under the stairs :rotfl:

Grrr, having a bit of a hard time on the insurance board - only went on there for some advice about the cyclist crashing into our car - somehow it has turned into a 'lets accuse Snaggles of running down a kid on a bike' free for all :(

I know we weren't at fault but obviously I'm not explaining myself well enough

(I'm probably over-reacting, but  )
