Breastfeeding for 10 months was amazing for me, as I wouldn't even entertain the thought of breastfeeding my first 2 babies! I only intended to do it for 6 weeks, but I liked it so much, and it is sooo much easier than bottlefeeding! Especially in the night - and in true DFW style it is free!

Thanks Sea, if I get fed up of the 'scoop and feed' method, I'll have a look - had to laugh at your comment about embarrassing incidents though, the mind boggles!

Edit - PS Bunny, hijack away, I really don't mind!

Oh and Snaggles, when I had my son last year the bounty packs on the ward have suddenly got really good! Lots of worthwhile freebies - a full pack of johnsons wipes, a pampers wipes box, pampers changing bag size pack of wipes, baby bath, baby lotion, toothbrush for you, small tube toothpaste, muslin square, £5 voucher for matalan baby clothes, loads of freebie soap powder tablets small pots of sudocrem ideal for changing bag, etc. lansinoh breast pads. have you got your free changing bag from boots yet?

Oooh, the Bounty packs do sound better than the one I got last time (free sample of fairy powder and a million leaflets about childrens savings account).

I managed to miss out on my free changing bag, because I didn't realise the voucher had an expiry date of about 4 weeks after I received it....grrrrr. I got one free with my pram though luckily, although it's a bit bulky, so I might look for something smaller. I got given some vouchers when I finished work, so maybe I could buy something with those.

    :)

I was still breastfeeding my son when I returned to work and having no money and only nursing bras (only one nice mothercare one - the oters were grey, nonpadded (I don't *do* non-padded usually) and also bagy mat clothes as was still lardy- bent over the table to help two year 11 boys (ie age 16). You get the picture. MORTIFICATION.

Bunny - thanks for asking hon. Waiting for the anti-d's to kick in, had a few really bad days (thankfully my mum was here for the worst day as I'm not sure if I would have been able to function enough to feed the kids!!). OH and I still looking into legal aid etc. OH not talking about the split. Acting as if nothing is happening. Great. Also found out that he's been saying things to me that aren't true about what others have been saying about me (playing on my paranoia issues) grrrr. Anyway - enough about that on here! Will have to update my thread, or maybe start a diary of my own! :)

Apply again - explain what happened. I have had that change bag and whlite it's getting a bit tatty, it's FAB as is all squishy and perfect. So useful :)
