    I wont stop posting on this thread for a bit yet, don't worry - it's just that it was originally about having a baby without messing up financially, and if I can make it through the next few months, then I'll (hopefully) have done what I set out to do - not get into more debt. Plus I haven't focussed very well on the money side of things as I've sometimes got too caught up in chatting about baby stuff (much more fun than money talk ;)).

    I definitely wont be disappearing from DFW though - no chance!

    Congratulations again to all of you - your pic reminds me of one I have of me just after DS2 was born - you couldn't tell that I'd just had a baby and that's how you look too....!!

    Oh I'm not going anywhere Lenny I promise - I just might start a different thread eventually when I'm ready for a new challenge. But it will be at least a couple of months, as I wont know how much money we are going to have until I go onto basic SMP next month.

    Kath, I really wanted to say thanks to you actually - when I was having my panic about giving birth, I think you asked me exactly what I was scared of, and for the first time, I actually sat and thought about it, and put it all down in writing on here. Just by doing that I felt like I was a lot more in control, and I think it really helped me through it this time. So you've helped your first Mum give birth even though you've not started your midwife training yet!

    Aw snaggles, that's really sweet of you! I'm glad it helped and you felt in control... I do find it helps to write stuff down.
