AAAwww Snaggles - Natasha is just so beautiful and so is Ryan, Natasha looks very content and Mr Snaggles looks as proud as punch - as you do- and so you both should :j
Thanks for sharing your photos, I love both the new baby smell and the one after the bath.
Feel all broody now :rolleyes:0 -

Flippin eck Snaggles, you both look really well considering you've just had a baby in a rush
Dont bath her too often, I love the new baby smell.
It was weird, I was sitting on the ward afterwards, thinking 'what just happened??'. I was completely shellshocked. I remember feeling a bit gutted that I hadn't had time to do my hair... but I did feel fantastic afterwards, completely on a high. (It might have been the after effects of the gas and air lol!)
I love the new baby smell too, but unfortunately hers had changed into the 'covered in baby poop' smell, hence the bath! :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
How are you feeling in yourself- are you getting time to sleep?
I still feel really well thanks, a little bit sore 'down below', achy 'up top' (as someone has removed my chest and attached two huge boulders) and I can feel the effects of all the hormonal changes, because I'm a bit short on patience and am irrationally scared of dropping her, but I haven't had the huge 'baby blues' slump that I was expecting (so far.....).
She's sleeping loads, although her sleep pattern is a bit mental - she's really lively from about 10pm until 2am, then goes off to sleep around 2.30am, but then doesn't wake up till about 10am. So I just need to convince her to go to sleep a bit earlier, ready for when I have to get up for the school run again, when hubby's paternity leave finishes."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Okay, I've just had a look at the internet banking - our shopping account has a balance of £77, but that was as of 8th May. Hubby reckons he spent 'about £30' at the supermarket, but he can't remember if he's spent anything else in the meantime, so I'll have to wait till mid-week to know how solvent we are.
Luckily there's only one more weekly shop to do before payday, and providing there's enough in there for the basics, we should be okay, as we've got a freezer full of 'stuff'.
Going to try and do a meal plan for the coming week, as last weeks went to pieces a bit hahaha!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Thanks el! I'm not too worried - it's on the credit card, but we should be able to pay it off on payday providing we don't go out and buy loads of other stuff.
We only bought the chair because we had one for Ryan, and he loved it, but when we got it out of the loft it hasn't really survived being packed away for the last 6 years. It was discoloured in places and I think some of the foam inside has perished, so we had to get rid of it.
I don't think there's much else we need now, so we should be able to keep our spending under control.
Which sort of leads me to wonder what to do with this thread - I'll keep it going for now, to keep me on the straight and narrow over the first few weeks/months with the new baby, especially when I go onto SMP next month, but then I think I'll be ready for a new challenge.
We have a car loan which we are intending to repay from a sharesave scheme which matures in August 08. There's a balance of about £4700 on there at the moment. So my plan is to work on paying as much as possible off it before then, so we will have some money left over from the sharesave.
When the car loan is paid off, we will be completely debt free...woo hoo!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
that is great news well not about you thinking about closing the diary but about you only having the car to clear ...where will we meet through out the day ?lol..i'm nearly there too it's so close i can smell it ...but then it disappears away again i'm doing my best not to get into anymore debt till i can get debt free but i'm finding that struggle just now to be honest0

It always is a struggle - that last mile is usually the hardest."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
