Help, I'm absolutely terrified.....:(

I've got to go into hospital first thing tomorrow morning, because my blood pressure has gone up, my bump hasn't grown this week and there's protein in my water. None of these things are good... _pale_

I'm supposed to be staying calm and not getting stressed, but I'm fighting back tears and really scared.

I've had a horrible fear all along that I'll have to be induced again, and it's just horrible. Women are supposed to have babies, why can't my body just do what it's supposed to do?

If my blood pressure is still up tomorrow they will admit me and then decide whether to induce or not....the midwife mumbled something about a section, but I really hope they wont want to do that.

Please someone tell me it will be okay.....

It'll be fine. I don't have kids, but my Mother was ill the whole time she was preggers with me (i'm an only child ) She was in hospital for months. I was born 3 weeks early after they induced her. Although I wasn't having any of it as the inducing didn't work and I started under my own steam!

Believe me I'm fine, and your little one will be to.

You'll be in the best place for them to look after you and the little one. Keep smiling and remember it will all be worth it.

I just don't know what I'll do if they admit me - I've got my son to look after, and my blood pressure will get worse and worse if I have to try and sleep in a strange bed, away from the people I love, not knowing what's going to happen. I know I'm being pathetic, but I'm really scared.

Aww hun your blood pressure could be up because of you being heavily pregnant, bump size is probably just the way baby's lying (I had the same happen with both my girls and the protein could be anything from a slight infection to eating too much protein! Please don't worry. It's great you're getting checked out as it'll put your mind and rest and if there is something up at least you'll be in the best place. As long as you have a healthy baby it doesn't matter how they arrive.

Oh Snaggle.... i'm sorry to hear thing's aren't to good at the mo you never know it could be little Natasha Grace getting ready to make show!! Right what you need to do now is get a nice cool drink and lie on the sofa with you DS and have a cuddle and explain to Natasha that your ready to meet her..... either that or just have a cuddle with DS and watch some kids TV

Honey its alright, its completely natural that you feel scared but it will be okay. Your body has done exactly what its supposed to have and grown your baby girl and now it is a bit tired, thats all. She's ready to meet her mumma any time now anyway so if they decide to induce you you get to have that first snuggle a bit earlier than planned is all. Everyone I know had a much better time with their second than their first and you've already done it all once so you know you can do it even if you're scared! {hugs}
