Morning all! Nice and sunny but quite chilly here. No sign of the downpours predicted yet!
Today we're off to a christening of our best friends little girl - its a Cathloic church thing (never been to one of those before) followed by a "do" in the local rugby club, so an afternoon (at least!) out!
We're getting a lift there and will get a taxi home but it will be shared with another friend so hopefully won't be too expensive. I'm recycling a frock and wrap I wore to a wedding last year that hasn't been out of the wardrobe since so managed to get away without buying something new that I wouldn't wear again.
Not a lot else planned for the day as I'm not sure what time we'll be back but I have/will...- Walked the dog for free exercise
- All food from stores
- Free buffet this afternoon
- Checked banks (pay day this week - hurrah!)
- Do a bit of prep for interview on Thursday (yes another one!)
- Clean car this morning
- Iron wrap thing for christening (looks a bit cold to me though!)
- One load of washing

Morning all
Well it's dry here today, for now at least, so I've already got the washing on the line. I'm hoping to get another load done quite soon too as we're off to visit my aunty later today and won't be back til late tomorrow. I definately need to get all the uniforms washed, dried and ironed before we leave.
With this is mind, here's my list:- Check bank & update spreadsheet
- Surveys
- Should be a NSD
- Food from stores or at my Auntys, although we're taking some food with us
- HC & line dry
- Ironing
- Enter some comps
- Put some bits on ebay before leaving this afternoon
- Visit my Mam - will walk there to get some free exercise
.
Just wanted to add that April was the first month I officially joined this thread and it's made such a difference! My biggest challenge has always been to check bank & update my spreadsheets regularly. Seeing this at the top of the list has made me take action every (well nearly every) day, meaning that for the first time ever, we've lived within our means
:D. I'm really chuffed to bits! It's not been easy, but also not been as hard as I thought. But the best bit is that for the first time in ages, we've reduced our net debt
:D:D. There's still a very long way to go...so I'll be here for ages
....but I finally feel like it can be done. THANK YOU ALL
!
Phew....that went on a bit!

Morning ladies! Opps afternoon even! so it is raining cats nd dogs here and I have to make up my mil's alpine trough today as its her birthday today!Going to have to go and get the soil and either do it in the kitchen or in the rain so I can drop it off later
that will teach me for being lazy!
My dd was acting very bizarrely last night, stayed up till 6am (she got hold of my ds's friend's phone and was calling ppl all night and has caused a load of trouble for ds). She's such a worry to me, the earlier she can be assessed by the mental health team the earlier she can start getting the right support. My ds is fuming and it will be all I can do today to keep the peace
