Hi all, hope you are ok. Been really busy recently so havent had time to post, but have been skim reading the gazillion posts that seem to appear out of nowhere:D.
Have had a number of use ups including ralph lauren Notorious perfume and body lotion wiba probably not, it was nice but i like a bit of variety with perfume. Some shampoo bit the dust too.
To those having bad days (I recall parking tickets??) i hope you arent still feeling too bad, but dont you just hate it when there are muggers and vandals roaming the street whilst you get hit with a ticket:p.
Anyhows just been to my zumba class, so gonna go have a shower and hopefully will have a really deep sleep.

    A few of use-ups here -

Maybelline Define A Lash mascara - WIBA? yes, although while I can still get No. 7 ones for £1 a time at the Boots clearance store I'll probably rely on that. I suspect there would have been a little bit more left in the Maybelline, but it had been open rather a long while so I thought it was better dumped. Now moved onto a part used Clinique Naturally glossy one - another firm favourite.
Also used up an Arm & Hammer toothpaste - another Poundland special I think! WIBA? - undoubtedly, it's one of my favourite toothpastes. I think I have a Pearl Drops to use next though.
A miniature Valentino perfume - from one of those five part sets you get sometimes at christmas. WIBA? no - probably not, it's nice enough, but not anything I would fall over myself for and didn't last well.

Also "out" is a Body Shop vitamin E facial soap, passed to my Mum to see if she can use it without her skin reacting as L'Oreal have discontinued yet another cleanser she got on with! In return she has given me a miniature Sanctuary facial wash which she didn't get on with! I also collected those two big bottles of shower gel that I'd ordered from her from Avon.

We're camping again over the weekend so I shall need to sort out my wash bag with bits and pieces. I seem to recall almost using up a mini Molton Brown shower gel last time so this trip will probably see the end of that - I shall have to see what I have to go onto next. I'll take facial wipes for use at night as usual - means I don't have to trail a washbag up to the ablutions block at night as well as in the morning and is easy just to do in the tent last thing.

I'm going to try to dig out one of those gradual tanning moisturisers for my legs I think - they're a somewhat ghostly shade at the moment!

    Hi everyone!

I have another use-up to report! My Burt's Bees Radiance Eye Cream finally bit the dust last night. WIBA? No, definitely not. It's a weird, sticky consistency and I didn't think it did much moisturising-wise or making my eyes look better. I'd especially not buy it here! I got it for much cheaper in the States.

I rinsed out the little glass pot in came in last night. I am going to make a mix of some grapeseed oil + sweet almond oil in it to use as a night eye cream.

Can anyone recommend a good natural eye cream to use during the day? My career is giving me dark circles under the eyes (something I've never really had up until I started in January)! So anything that helps them is a bonus. I know people like Touche !clat and Garnier eye roll-on, but I'm a hippie and would like to know if someone could vouch for something natural or organic :P

    Hi all

I have been out enjoying the sun over the last few days, and also cycling like a demon to try and lose some lbs, so haven't been around much. But I have used up a pack of Boots cotton pads (the double faced ones, thanks for the recommendations ladies). I'll put £1 in the pot as I think they were 3 for £3 on promotion.

Nothing else to report, several items are spluttering/tubes cut open though so they will be gone soon!!! :rotfl:

I saw Olay Definity mousse moisturiser for only £4.99 and actually am very low on day cream, has anyone tried it and is it good??

Right, off to read the pages I've missed...

Bought some new face cream as my other stuff isn't worth of anything but use as foot cream.

I've been having major problems with my hair since Jan and after trying every lotion and potion on the high street I got some advice at a salon and had to fork out for some Kerastase shampoo and conditioner for the princely sum of £32.50. This had bloody better well do the trick, else I'm taking it back as 'not fit for purpose' and spitting blood cos that's money I just don't have. :(

Congratulations on the new job, Pinkphoenix :)
I won a lippie in the Rimmel competition too. It's Red Fever, which is a bright red. Bf thought it was a good colour :)

I've used up a few things since my last big list:
    - Sainsbury's active;naturals purify bath elixir (200mL). WIBA? Well it's discontinued, so I can't, but I would have if I could have. It smells nice and refreshing and wasn't expensive.
    - Dead Sea Minerals bath salts. WIBA? Definitely. They made the bath water nice and soft, didn't bring on thrush (have to be careful with bubbles!), and did help achy limbs after lots of training. I also think they helped clear my scalp of some spots caused by shampoo.
    - Johnson's 24h extra rich body lotion (was a freebie to trial for a magazine). WIBA? No. It was nice enough to start, but felt rather cheap compared to many others I've tried. It was ok as a freebie, but I wouldn't pay for it.
    - Packet of Boots double-faced cotton wool pads.

I've also acquired a few things:
    - Rimmel lipstick in Red Fever (as above) - competition win
    - Day cream, night cream, pore and line serum - to trial. I don't know what make they are.
    - A jar of the snail gel that there's a thread about on here! Here's hoping it works for me!
    - Boots things - had four No7 vouchers, and didn't want to spend any money, so got some reduced stocking cream (x4), reduced anti-aging pre-holiday body treatment (x3) and an anti-aging pre-holiday face serum. These are in older packaging and I haven't seen the stocking cream for ages, so hope they're still ok when I open them! Also bought the half-price Sanctuary protective 24hr moisture lotion with a glitchy GWP, but paid with points.
    - Lots of Body Shop goodies *blush* - With the Telegraph vouchers, I got three Aloe deodorants (on 3for2), a baby size hemp hand cream, and a basil massage balm (for the bf's house, so doesn't count!). I took advantage of the 3for2 most expensive free, and got the Wise Woman serum, Nutriganics serum, mineral foundation (have been wanting to try this for a while!) and large face brush (x2: one for bf's house - have also wanted one of these since I got the other brushes in the Christmas glitches), large hemp hand cream and the moisture white cleansing powder, which will be used when travelling. There were some nail files, nail buffers and gift bags to get those cheap! Then there was the 50% off code, so I got the leave-in conditioner, wooden brush (never on offer, and needed for bf's house), large hemp hand protector and the polynesian spa set, which smells delicious and will probably be used for a present.

Sorry to keep it all for a long post - I started a new job at the beginning of May and haven't been able to post, though I have (just!) caught up with everyone else's posts. Definitely haven't been good in May! (I blame it on the new job and being constantly knackered due to the 1hr commute each way!)

Me too. I got "Kiss Me" which is very bright. Will be good to use with my tan though.

No other use ups as yet this week though. x
ahh that sounds like a nice name for a lipstick! mine is shocking pink so, like you said, it will carry through the summer with a tan!

1 more use up this morning, a GUM hair conditioner WIBA nice and orangey so very refreshing in the morning but didn't find it very moisturising for the barnet

    Have a good day x

I;ve been told that the Origins one is nice - haven't used it though and while I think it's natural I'm not 100% sure!

I think I finished the Clean, Girls S&G shower gel this morning - will know for sure tomorrow though. If I have I'll be starting on a freebie from when I stayed at Malmaison, it's quite nice stuff and a fairly big bottle.
