 c l a i r e, your stash is mega!!!!!!! :rotfl: You are in good company though :) I haven't even been brave enough to count/list mine yet, so well done! And it is always good to know that most of your stash is from glitches etc (mine is too), so at least it cost way less than RRP.

Welcome to the newbies, good to see some new faces!!! :)

Off to shower now and try out my new Dove self tan body lotion from the £ shop, wish me luck xo

I have bought something, i bought 1 shampoo, 2 conditioners, 2 bikini hair removal kits, spent a total £4.14 - thats since the start of march!

I checked my stash, and i have 2 shampoo's, 2 conditioners, 3 shower gels, 2 exfoliators, 2 bubble baths, 2 face scrubs, 2 hand soaps, 1 moisturiser, 2 bikini hair removal kits, 3 intuition razor refills, 2 deoderants!

So it looks like i am getting there! doing the same with the cleaning supplies!
THis thread is an inspiration to use it all up!

    Hi newbies and salesaddict!

Finished off a superdrug rose and lychee shower gel (would never have thought to buy this for myself but it was very nice!), a nail polish remover and some Dream of Pink perfume (love this, will definitely buy again). Got a few things close to the end so will report back soon!

Hope everyone is okay, I've got a crazy hard week at work so am looking forward to Friday! xXx

    Hi everyone.

Lovely new thread for May:j I didn't buy anything in April apart from stuff we need... toothpaste, shower gel etc.

So far I haven't bought anything in May, but I haven't been out anywere yet :o.

I've just finished an M&S body butter, it was ok but I wouldn't bother again. Now I can open my S&G Daily Smooth and thinking ahead I've cleaned out the M&S tub and squeezed/scraped the S&G stuff into it!! I hate not being able to get the last bit out of the tube (which are so hard plasticy and a right pain in the bum)

    c l a i r e, that's a pretty amazing stash  I'm impressed :)
Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.

Just back from the cinema and OH is working, so here's the list of things I have used up since I started the stealth challenge in February:
    • Clarins toner with camomile - WIBA - yes, but still one to go in the stash. Nice & gentle, & seems to get the grime off pretty well
    • Large tub Sanctuary Mande Lular body souffle - WIBA ooooh yes - I love the smell and it soaks in really well on me. Replacement started from stash
    • Guerlain Issima Gentle Facial Exfoliator - WIBA probably not - lovely smell but seems to just move a patch of grey sludge from one side of my face to the other & not convinced it's actually doing anything in the meantime
    • Soap & Glory Righteous Butter small tub - WIBA no - I know lots of you love it, but I just don't like the smell although it seems to be good on the moisturising front
    • Sanctuary Spa Body Butter small tub - WIBA absolutely, although I have saved the tub for hols and refilled it with Sanctuary Body Lotion
    • Clarins Par Amor body lotion sample - WIBA no - on me it smells like one of those sickly scents favoured by garden centres.
    • Ellnett hairspray - immense vat - WIBA oooh yes - keeps my fine hair from lying totally flat on my head, but doesn't make it feel like a possum
    • Dove deodorant - WIBA - yes once current stock from glitches and freebies is finished
    • Clarins Multi Active Day Cream small tube - WIBA probably not. Smells nice, but is no more effective on me than Simple's Replenishing Rich Moisturiser which is less than a tenth of the price
    • Dove intensive body moisturiser - WIBA yes, once stash gone, good moisuriser, don't like the scent a great deal, and I wish that whoever designed the packaging had realised that bottles with small bases and bulging tops will tend to fall over a lot, really irritating the user
I have a couple of things at the spluttering stage, so hopefully I will soon hear some more satisfying clanks from the recycling bin... ;)

Now that there isn't a thread devoted to Bootsing it has helped me curb my toiletries spending. Hi to the other Bootsers I've noticed on here! Apart from the benefit of saving money, one other thing that is motivating me to join this thread is that I'm hoping to move house within the next year. I keep imagining removal day and thinking of the embarrassment I would feel at having boxes and boxes of toiletries! The OH knows I've got a lot of stuff but I don't think he quite realises just how much!

I have £20 to spend in Boots points but I am saving these to treat myself to a new hairdryer (haven't decided which one yet but I want one of the "adds shine" types). I shall use the £5 Body Shop voucher (from The Telegraph, which we buy on a Saturday anyway) this week towards Vitamin E tinted moisturiser which is £8 something as I only have half a tube left and use this during the summer months rather than foundation. I shall have to buy some deodrant this week (I buy Simple roll on from Home Bargains 99p). I thought I might have some spare deodrant and so had a look through my stash for it but nowhere in sight. What I did discover was that I had 4 bottles of Bourjois nail varnish remover from when Boots had vouchers for Bourjois. I thought I had 2 bottles! I haven't used my Boots double points voucher yet and it expires on 18 May and so I could be tempted if there are any good offers on or if I discover I need anything (LOL). I really shouldn't need to buy anything else this month though.

Hi all. I have now finished off a pump bottle of LE C&P - WIBA? - unfortunately I don't get on with this stuff anymore since the formula was changed and I'm still angry about this! Yes, angry! I have been a C&P devotee for years - it changed my skin completely but now it doesn't do a thing although I have been mixing it with Neutrogena facial scrub which has made it work better! I won't buy again but I do have a 150ml bottle still left so will use this and there will be no repurchase afterwards.

Also finished a tub of Carmex. WIBA? Yes. Do have a new tube that was already in my stash though. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Know the feeling LE C&P was one of my favourites and my treat to myself. It just isn't the same and now I am on a look out for a replacement. Tried the Cl*nque one I think Take the Day Off or similar but wasn't so keen on it although my mum liked it.

Claire - impressed by your orgainisational skills.

I managed to use up all my sun lotion except for my British weather ones - SPF 4 and 8. Kiehls creme do corps almost gone too. Really like it but now on a budget so can't justifiy buying it when I still have a lot of body lotion.

I am geeting through the bubble bath/shower gel. Onto an M&S one which I am not too keen on but the smell disappearsso not a big problem. It is just too floral for my tastes. It is the matching body lotion which is the pain. Leaving it in kitchen to put on after washing hands.

Likely to be buying toothpaste and cotton wool this month but hopefully nothing else!

Well the sparkly moisturiser is no more :T

Isn't it amazing how fast something can be used up when you are determined to be rid of it! I now have very soft, glittery feet :rotfl:

Onwards to the next bottle of carp body moisturiser......
