He's 6! Bless him, it was him who dragged me over there to look at them and he was desperate to try some. As I saw a colour I liked, I thought I'd try it out and actually apply it properly so he didn't look like a clown
.
It was the natural collection moss green one. Dark browny green with a hint of glitter.
I think its fine for a six year old. He sounds like he's interested in colours and textures and I think that's great.0 -
Hello all,
hope you are ok Katie Clampet. We have to take special care of you as you are our founder member.:A
I found it impossible to keep up with the April thread. I don't know where the first four months of this year have gone. I hope it slows down and we have a lovely long hot Summer.
I have really cut down on my buying although I have not cut out purchases altogether. I just feel much more in control and not at all "compulsive". I am using my stash up in the most mse way so it is slow but sure.
At the end of this month I may post some updated pictures as I have organised everything now and it will look a lot tidier and not like some demented womans lair:D
Hope everyone is doing well and thanks to all the regulars who really keep the thread going xxx.0 -
Hi all hope you are well
Bronnie thanks for the new thread and also Katie for getting us started on this challenge, do hope you are recovering from your hospital stay. Kaz, regarding families i feel for you i have a difficult relationship whith my mum and one of her sisters and often feel ganged up on and disapproved off, its been going on for as long as i can remember with mum and it still saddens me at times that i dont feel that close to her, although i do love her lots. Regarding the eyeshadow:rotfl::rotfl:my seven year old would have a fit if i tried that.:D, although dh has let me paint his toenails red before, strangely i found it very sexy:D:eek:.I hate to analyse what that says about me:D.
Welcome to the newbies too.
Had 2 use ups. Sample size La Roche Possay Tolerance cleanser , was quite nice and no reactions on my skin, wiba well depends on the price, i dont know how much they are as this was a freebie and whilst it did the job it was not unique in anyway. Also finished a tootpaste.

xxYou laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

Hi all, please count me in for the May challenge as well. I am happy and amazed to say that the only purchase during April was mouthwash! :T However it doesn't seem to have made much of a difference yet to my toiletries stash. I'm determined to keep working my way through my "opened and never finished" stuff, and break open the occasional treat and special thing so I don't get too fed up and demoralised!
Tonight I finished up my last chunk of a Lush Ma Bar bubble bar. It was pretty good value as I got 4 baths out of the whole bar, but as it was a while since I first bought it, the fragrance had just about disappeared. Also I'm not keen on the way the water turns a muddy brown with this particular bubble bar :rotfl: So probably wouldn't buy that one again. And anyway I'm still on my self-imposed ban from Lush.
This month I think I will need to buy mouthwash, toothpaste, hairspray and cotton wool pads. I'll set myself a budget of £10 for this month and try not to go over.
Good luck everyone with the May challenge and remember to pamper yourself with those special products you've kept for ages and never opened (I know I'm not the only one who does that now!).:)
Love from Candice xx0 -

OMG - thank god its not just me... Me and my friend were at Olympia showjumping champs a few years ago, watching the fancy dress class - and I fell completely and utterly in lust with Robert Whittaker's.... (wonderful thighs !) the only problem was that I only really fancy him when hes dressed as Tina Turner in a gold sequinned mini skirt....:o:rotfl:Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Today I bought myself a new toothbrush and a new eyeshadow. Is it wrong that I tested the eyeshadow on DS to make sure it would suit me? He didn't mind!
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I bought 2 toothpastes and a Loreal shampoo for £2 the lot yesterday - not a good start!
But today I've finished a Cherry Drop Liplicious :T So I only have four of them left. One day I'll have finished them, and I'll be able to buy some more :rotfl:0 -
I have followed last months postings and will be joining in this month. The sheer shame of having to post my list has held me back ;-) .
On the other hand, I used up Boots Perfect and protect serum, nightcream and daycream last month, and instead of buying more, have moved on to using up my Simple moisturizer and freebie pots of eyecream instead!
Will come back and admit my hordings later - when I have found everything I have stashed.......................!!2011
Still trying to reduce the toiletries mountain, now a hill........ :j

I'm having a bit of a dilemma, I am going on a week long caravan holiday in 3 weeks and was wondering whether to take my cleanser that I am currently using or take my 50ml Liz Earle that I've had since April 2009 and should really use up sooner rather than later and when I get back probably have 2 cleansers on the go.
What would you recommend?Did owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

Hi all, and thanks for all the kind enquiries. It was nothing too serious, just one of those female things, that was a bit more complicated than expected, but I am home now, and getting better each day.
I am taking the opportunity to laze about and spoil myself a bit, it will be back to the grindstone (work) soon enough, so I am enjoying being a lady of leisure!!
