Hi girls, just a quickie, back from quick shopping trip to Liverpool and about to go to work:(

Bought this, with the £5 No 7 voucher, so it only cost 75p and it's quite big. Wondering how effective it will be at preventing colour fade? Testing it out soon hopefully in the sun, Greek strikes and ash clouds permitting, so will report back.

    http://www.boots.com/en/No7-Hair-Pro...-200ml_854574/

Not taking too much notice of the Boots reviews now tbh, after what someone on MSE said about only the positve reviews they submitted appearing. Also the first review on the site doesn't make much sense to me, she says she's in and out of the sea and pool on holiday and how nice this product kept her hair, so she didn't need to wash it as often ?????????

I've seen several bad/negative reviews on the boots site though so really hope this isn't true. I wonder if the poster contact Boots for an explanation - I would be so mad if I took the time to review something and they deliberately wouldn't post it. But on a positive note I like the spray, it smells really nice and ime prevented my hair from drying out as much as it usually does in the sun. Plus the bottle lasts ages so is brilliant value with the £5 voucher. I usually get this in the summer along with the shimmering eye and lip screen. This is a fab product, really moisturises my lips and feels lovely on the eyelids. Can't believe they have increased the price though:eek: it used to be 75p after the voucher.

Another use-up here today - I am doing well this week! Finished a John Frieda Brilliant Brunette conditioner - this is a regular product for me and I have several more in the cupboard thanks to the Tesco glitch. WIBA? - yes, undoubtedly. Suits my hair and leaves it lovely and soft and shiny. Not quite sure yet if I shall go onto another one of those, or something different.

I have a sneaky feeling that my foundation is on the way out - if it does run out I'll probably use a sample Clinique one up next to stretch out me needing to buy a replacement - that stalls the need for a trip to Boots where temptation lies also! :D

Just off for a bath - should have another use up tonight,as my mother saw fit to restock the soap dispenser on the sink with my lovely cinnamon buns bubble bath, rather than her !!!!!! horrible vanilla multipurpose soapy stuff... grrrrrrr !!!!! Its all mixed in with the other stuff that was in the soap thing already,so I cant even change it now !!!

couple of days ago had a few more use ups - a lush talc that i dont remember its name(have had it 3 years!!!) - was down to the final few dregs. WIBA - no. I liked it,but am still boycotting lush due to their dodgy stand on certain things.

foot powder - WIBA?? no, talc works just as well!!!

There was something else as well - cant remember what off the top of my head though.

my catch a wrinkle in time is spluttering now,so hopefully will be gone in a couple of days - Im using it as night cream, with my benefit dear john in the daytime.

    well done everyone !!

oh - Tara - I havent bought the BS lemon BB yet - though Im going into Poole tomorrow,so might see if I can get a sample. (and he and I had a LONG talk on Sunday (mostly involving me telling him he doesnt treat people like he does) will have to wait and see what happens.)

trudij, what kind of dodgy stands do they have on things? Interested as I myself am a slight (:rotfl:) Lush addict but am always happy to hear both sides of every coin!

I WON ANOTHER LIPSTICK !!!! Wahooooo !!!!!! (thats 2 from about a zillion flakes now!!)

Vatic - I used to use Lush a lot.Its made only a mile from my house (smells lovely round here quite often!!) and I liked a lot of their things.
Last year - they brought out a new bubble bath (iirc) called Fantastic Fox (or something similar) and sold it in aid of the hunt sabateurs.

I have no problem with people being anti-hunting,and I have all the time in the world for antis who are prepared to campaign against hunting in a lawful way - the hunt sabs do not.they are the most aggressive,anti-animal loving bunch of people I have ever had the misfortune to come into contact with.(for college dissertations, once I came into hard contact (well, the horse I was riding did) with an iron bar one was brandishing - and Ive also been driven at whilst riding along the road.

Lush could have picked any of a number of anti-hunting organisations and I woudlnt have minded too much at all. the fact that they chose rent a mob, speaks volumes - as does them not taking any notice at all of any organisations trying to point out what the hunt sabs association are really like. Its more the refusal to listen to any other opinion than their own that pi**ed me off (does in all situations!) - but I cant bring myself to support a shop that supports a group of people who regually go out and do what they do.

    (hope that makes sense!!!) :)

    Hi everyone.

Not been on for a while but have used a few things up :T

A loreal shampoo, got one more to use now. A toothpaste. Radox bubble bath... OH bought another and my son accidently knocked it into the bath, the lid fell off and half the bottle emptied. When I run my bath later I accidently tipped loads in because it was soooo runny and full of bath water!!! So now I'll be replacing that sooner than I should.

This morning I opened a Rimmel foundation that I won in a comp :T but I can't remember entering. It looked a bit dark but tried some earlier and it might be ok. I'll try it tomorrow in the daylight to make sure.

I gave my Aldi night creme to my Nan because it doesn't suit my skin even though I love the smell and feel :( She seems to like it though so thats a result :T I'm almost out of eye creme (simple kind to eyes balm) it's ok but I might try some Aldi stuff because it's cheap :)

And lastly I'd like to say it was worth putting the tube of S&G daily smooth in a pot. My skin doesn't feel over greasy now because I'm not using so much and hopefully it'll last loads longer.

Now I just have to decide what to spend my No7 voucher on :)
Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.

    Hi all

I've used up a mini BS aloe vera night cream so will add £1 to the pot. WIBA: yes, it is gorgeous, but only as part of a glitch obviously! :D

Also had a £3 Sanctuary voucher from Mother's Day gift set, used that to buy some Sanctuary wipes which will be handy for freshening up on holiday. They were £3.99, less the voucher.

Today's total spend was therefore £1.74 and I had a couple of quid left on an old gift card so effectively no-new-spend purchases for me!!

That's my kind of toiletries shopping.
    :T:T:T:T

Bronnie - I got that spray with a No7 voucher ages ago and always forget to bring it on hols, I must remember next time! :rotfl:

Well done on the no spend yay! :)

    :eek::eek::eek::eek: at your mother!!!!!

Definitely get a sample of the lemon butter, the lemon range has had such mixed reviews (mostly about the smell!), I would be wanting to sample it first before committing.

Thanks trudij. I was pretty weary of that campaign last year too and thought it smelled fishy/bizarre, so I avoided it and Fantastic Mr. Fox too.

    Night night ladies!

Have been offline all evening watching all the political goings on, very interesting. I thought G Brown left office with dignity, he will be glad of that (I was no fan of his economic policies but can see the good in him as a person - can't bloody stand Tony Blair). Wonder what the Tories will bring...
