hi sf, I loved the Body Shop mango body butter by the way! Really nice. Dunno how to get the next batch for the best price (buying lots of mag or picking one up in BS). Am frightened to look at glitches. Glitches mean buying more than I need and I only need one! Wish I'd got the telegraph now for the £5 voucher, doh!
have done a makeup bag for work, so help used some bits up. actually talking of which, must dash!Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Hi all – I’ve been slightly absent in terms of posting for a few weeks, too much work to do! I have been following the thread though, and sticking to the challenge. I’ll catch up properly later, but just wanted to pop in and say I haven’t spent anything yet in May (hooray!), have used up a few bits, and have a fair few more spluttering
I did manage to get through all my foundation sample sachets, which was great, but have since acquired one more – after mixing up a custom colour blend from 2 tinted moisturisers (1 too dark and 1 too light) and some face shimmer. The blend is ok, but nothing amazing – it’ll do in the meantime until I use up all the tinted moisturisers, and then I’ll be very happy to go back to my Clinque standard foundation.
Use ups:
Clinique superfit foundation sample. WIBA? No – poor coverage, didn’t last well, and a little cakey in places. Really disappointed
John Frieda Sheer Blonde Moisturising Conditioner Platinum to Champagne. WIBA? No – liked it, but not worth paying full price. If it was on 3 for £2 again (brilliant Tesco glitch!) I wouldHave another in stash which I’ve already opened, but I’d get much more value for money from buying the big TIGI bottle I used before this, and it’s a slightly better conditioner.
Hope everyone is well, and happy it’s a Monday…0 -
Hi newbies
Which magazine is the body shop butter in? Or do I not need to know? :rotfl:
Used up an OralB mouthwash today, got some more to get through! Was £1 from Iceland, so pretty good value I guess. Just about to finish off some Ojon hair oil treatment, would NEVER buy this again, it smells ick and doesn't have a visible effect on my hair!
Gonna do a Miss Sporty teal shade for PYNM, it look really pretty in the bottle.
Was a bit bad yesterday and ordered a hamper from l'occitane, it will be mostly for presents but I do want o try a little bit as lots of people ave told me how lovely it is
Good luck for the houses fairy_dust and LiR!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -

I bought some Rose Moisturiser from our local country fair yesterdaybut as it's so lovely and supporting our local bee-keepers and I needed a body moisturiser AND it lasts AGES, I feel fine with that! It's really lush - made with beeswax and rose oil - that's it. Beaut! It only cost £2.50 too. It'll last at least a year.

Hello, couldn't resist returning to mention...
Minallmine - make up bag for work, car, swimming bag, overnight bag, long stay bag... I've done them all! Good idea, and quite fun - organising and alloting are my favourite things! Glad you liked the Mango! thevicster - was going to ask which mag too then remembered why I'm on this thread! p.s what does PYNM mean?
fixx sorry you had a bad time - thanks for the heads-up on the foundation - I thought about buying this brand the other week.
tara747 it is! Not sure where you're based - if you take a look at http://www.reigatebeekeepers.org.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=10&Itemid=76 this should give you details of where to purchase. They don't sell direct from the site, but from markets and shows. Very lovely produce and great for the bees! If that's not local - there should be some beekeepers in your area... if you're interested in finding some treats that is!
Hope you are all having a lovely day, I'm due for a coffee...0 -

PYNM..............Paint Your Nails Monday (or PYNT, PYNW, PYNT etc etc, if you don't manage it on Monday :rotfl:) Our innovation to get some of those bottles of nail polish used up! I can't do it because I can't wear it for workand have to keep my toenails free of polish for now too

I think the brand overall is pretty good - i swear by their "Superbalanced" foundation, but the superfit did not work at all for me. The counters are generally really good at advice and doing applications/mini makeovers for you if you want to try foundations, and letting you take away samples - so I would recommend tryign Clinique if you want a new foundation.0 -
