Went into Morrisons yesterday & bough DH his Arm & Hammer Sensitive Toothpaste - but also picked up Morrisons for 99p for him to try. He's getting very good at trying substitutes so fingers crossed!:D (does this count as its not for me?)
Found I've got about 4 bottles of foundation - Estee Lauder, Body Shop, Avon & Boots! Will definitely NOT be buying any for about 2 yrs!!!:oSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -

In - body shop mango body butter (free with mag offer). Have no body lotion or butter so desperately needed. Hope I like the smell.
Well chuffed with myself. I bought a bronzer from Eyes Lips Face (ELF) and after applying it several times I wasnt impressed. Then I noticed the colours were split into 4 and by sweeping across the 2 darker colours I preferred the result,
and found the lightest one was good as a highlighter on its own.
Off to have a pamper.

Went to Boots yesterday armed with a £10 gift voucher and a £5 No 7 voucher to see what I could get for my money. Did quite well....
- Tresemme colour shampoo 500ml
- Tresemme colour conditioner 500ml
- Herbal Essences colour shampoo 400ml
- Herbal Essences colour conditioner 400ml
- Sure roll on deodorant
- Toothpaste
- Radox bath soak
- No7 eye gel
- No 7 wipes (got another voucher from "spending" more than a fiver)
The hair stuff will last at least a month and the other bits will do me for a good while too.
Quite happy with that!0 -
oh - exciting house news there ladies - good stuff Fairy Dust, it's a fab feeling knowing for the first time that the four walls you stand within are all yours......well, and the bank! LIR I'll keep my fingers crossed for you - it's a nervewracking time!
Right - the facewipes went last night - it's times like that when wipes come into their own IMO - we were in the pub until time was called (and then a bit!) then 14 of us went on for a indian meal....by the time I got back to the hotel at about 1.30am there was no way I'd have been bothered with anything more complicated! There were the Pure facial cleansing wipes which are usually on a 2 for £1 offer in Wilkinsons - I've used them before and find them perfectly adequate. WIBA? - yes - I still have a pack in stock at the moment but I'll happily go back for these when I next need to buy. I may also give the Tesco Vit E ones that so many of you recommend a go too though - always happy to try a good cheap alternative! I do find wipes so much easier than the full routine if I'm away from home overnight, and for camping they are invaluable.
I got into The Body Shop yesterday with my two Telegraph £5 vouchers - came out with a pair of Body Butters (Sweet Lemon which I was dying to try, and the Moringa one) and a pair of shower gels (Moringa and Mango) plus a sample of their Seaweed Day Cream with a £3 off voucher attached. Total spend £8.50 which seemed reasonable enough. I can't imagine paying £6 for one of those shower gels though!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
