A few months ago I went shopping with OH and he was appauled at the amount I spent on a benetint and a blush. Now, so would I! Was lush to have them though. And they're still going - you do get a good product at least.
Anti-aging ceams etc are so hard to judge though. I've thought of trying the No.7 stuff/Loreal/etc and been put off by the price and the fact that they all claim to work brilliantly! Fibbers
Best to request them as Xmas gifties I suppose!
I've just painted my nails and have realised I must say goodbye to an old fave - the No.7 Pink Grapefruit varnish I got as a Freebie in a try-me kit. The old gal has certainly had her day!
Oh! Just remembered to mention... I signed up to Trinkets today - they do online deliveries of feminine items. Too expensive for much use - I was initially attracted by their current BOGOF offer for new orders. This is as much exp I have with the company but thought I'd mention it as they appear to be rather lush! Hope it helps with the MS luxury (necessary!) must haves!0 -
I'm now the proud owner of a £10 Boots gift voucher (from doing surveys) and a £5 No 7 voucher.
I'm going to spend them tomorrow on as many essential toiletries as possible and the No7 one on a treat for me (will actually spend no more than a fiver).
Shopping with fake money - sounds good to me!
Anyone aware of any good everyday stuff bargains at Boots (shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste etc)0 -
I just collected a £10 Tesco voucher for surveys - woo! Congrats on your Boots treat opportunity!

May have finished a hand cream this morning as I struggled to get the last bits out although as I was running late this morning didn't have a chance to properly try. I might try this evening to see if there's anything still left in there to finish off. Also I don't know whether I should be good and cut open the tube or throw it once I really can't get anymore out and start on the next one. I don't usually cut products open so don't know if I should start now

14 more to go.Did owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

:wave:Just saying hello again to everybody, I dont post much, am more of a lurker!
am enjoying following the thread, and taking part in the challenge. I have now used up all opened goodies, given away duplicates im not too keen on to a very lovely and very gratefull daughter in law. I have been listing what I like the most, and what works for me, for when I eventually start buying again!! I have opened the last toner in my stash today, so that will be one spend, will have to see how it lasts.
Most recent use up, a neutrogena deep clean 2 in 1 face wash/mask, cant sing its praises enough for my breakout prone skin, very smoothing too.
Avon winter wonderland shower gel, very lovely, will buy again when my others run out, in about 6 years time...............
Erm............. 1 body shop purchase to admit to......... lines done and time spent on the naughty step.........
Keep up your good work and pampering all!

Am pleased to report a few things have now left my stash:j The Lee Stafford dry shampoo is now all used up and I will definitely be buying again. Lovely scent (unlike some other dry shampoos) and really good at freshening hair up on days I don't wash it. I wash my hair most days so only need this the odd time meaning a bottle lasts me ages. Might wait for the next £2 haircare voucher from boots to replenish it though. And my 2 elemis sos creams are gone, I sold them on ebay as I have far too much skincare stuff already and would probably never get round to using them. They were a competition freebie anyway so I'm in profit:D:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0

plan to mix the sweet snuggles i found lurking with handcream to get that used up.... ( I'll teach it to sneak up on me!!)
(left my phone in to charge in my bedroom last night - went to bed at midnight to find that id missed 3 texts from you know who - the last one at 10.15 saying that I "obviously dont want to talk to me - im sorry" - methinks is getting a taste of his own medicine....

Hi Trudij - thanks for the welcome! Silly accident at home (where else!) I thought I was on the bottom step of the stairs & I was on the second - stepped down hard on the ball of my foot & I've fractured the 5th Metatarsal in 3 places (sounds good doesn't it) same injury footballers get - but I'm not on their wages......! Only another 3 weeks 'till the plaster comes off & I'm DYING for a long soak in the bath with all the 'smellies' I've found.
I did buy some face creams from ALDI last week as I was getting low. Just started the 'Double Lift' cream & it seems to be exactly the same as the L'oreal one - seems to be just as good too & a lot cheaper!
I got a day & a night cream too but I'll finish up my Boots ones first like a good girlSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0
