Dh away for the long weekend and had to spend yesterday - bought ds a get well pressie cos he was at A & E friday night (all ok now but watching him like a hawk!) and then had to entertain ourselves while dd was at a birthday party for 4 hours! So lots of spending on day 1 :(

But a definite nsd today - even though we are nearly out of toilet roll I am NOT going out to buy any:eek::rotfl:

    Hi there

I did really well last month, compared to failing to get 6 NSD's for the previous three months.

Not going to get over confident though

Please put me down for 7 NSD's please

Hello Solventsoon please can we join? I saw the link to the NSD challenge on the grocery challenge and this is just what I need. DH has been told there's a high risk of him being made redundant by the summer so we absolutely HAVE to cut down on our spending. I'm aiming for 16 NSD's.

Does anyone have any advice on how to avoid spending? I think I'm addicted to shopping sometimes and love mooching around shops looking for bargains, birthday/christmas presents, etc....

    Help Please!

im going for 4 no spend days this month, but we seem to spend a little everyday, ie tues is my pilates class, weds is my sons climbing class etc etc so it is very difficult to have a nsd. Or do other people say that only unexpected spends count as spending. Views?

And we're off! have been at work on a long shift today so no money changed hands - NSD number one in the bag! There are only half a dozen days in the month where I have standing orders or direct debits coming out, so if I am clever scheduling in my food shopping trips I will notch up quite a few NSDs. Having said that, let's not be counting chickens - we are not out of the woods till the fat lady sings....
