Yesterday was a spending day as it was shopping day but I did manage to keep the rest of the day low by staying in and buying snacks (£2) with the shopping to have watching a movie instead of going to the cinema and spending £15 on tickets and £12 on stuff to scoff (split with OH).

Today won't be a NSD either I don't think - off to a christening - free food but there is a bar and a taxi home to think about.

TOMORROW WILL BE A NSD!!!! Lots of school and uni work to do!

    Morning all

Am gutted i missed the night out, it sounds like a riot!!!!

Think i'll go for 10 again this month please Spoon.
Think it might be a tricky one this month as the NSD's won't start until my mother goes home & i'm away for a week so not much time to get them in, but i know i can do it if i try hard!!!! :D

Setting my normal target of 11 NSDs for the month

And declaring yesterday as my first NSD of the month, so off to a flying start :T

Spent the day with OH, and we went for a walk for 'entertainment', then had Whoopsied pizza for tea (he already had them in, so it's clear he's not averse to shopping from that section of the supermarket when the opportunity arises ;) )

Wow, lots of pages to catch up on this morning!! Pleased that so many are off the mark already! :T

I am declaring today as my first NSD for May. Hope to get a few more under my belt this first week...helps to make the last week less frenetic! :D.

Really pleased I made both my NSD and GC targets last month...have reduced the GC for this month by £50...so could be tight, esp as DS2 will be home for at least half of it! (revising for AS Levels)...oh well, I like a challenge!:o

Glad to see there are only a few still suffering from the after-effects of Friday night...the foot/toe was a bit achey , thanks for asking Spoon. Doing four hours at work and then some gardening yesterday means that it is quite tender this morning too. I was mainly potting on my tomato seedlings, then watering everything in pots...now why did I bother with that...we had soooo much rain last night!

So today, I am going to finish off the potting on and sow more seeds, with plenty of sitting down with my foot up. I also want to sort out meal plans for the next two weeks, if not month.

DH has taken DS2 to a Rugby (what else?!) Assessment Day at the local college his going to in September...at least this one is only 10 miles away...unlike all the Scotland ones! :D I might go and watch the match he is playing in this afternoon. He has been told that he is on stand-by for the Scotland U17 training camp in Spain this summer, but he has already been invited along to the Scottish Exiles camp in Leeds (not as warm as Spain though!), so we will still "lose" him for a while this summer :j:j

Right must get washed and dressed now (DS2 hogged the bathroom earlier)...then off ot the greenhouse for a bit.

Have a great weekend everyone...despite the weather, saying that, the sun is trying to come out, and it has stopped raining!

Good morning - well, I say good morning but its actually raining so not so great.

I have my first NSD under my belt and today will also be non spend as there is nothing open for me to spend money at (here Everything is shut on Sunday, except the swimming pool, and it's DH's money that's buying that one for the kids!!).

I am trying to plan so that Monday will also be NS, so might have to have a scrabble around in the cupboards for dinner!
    Trying to keep in budget.
