    Hi all

NSD for me yesterday (although my dog incurred vets fees of over £95 I haven't actually paid these yet) so number 8 please Spoon.
Already filled the tank this morning so no chance of a NSD today (though the plan is still not to spend anything else at least)

    Hi lovely NSD-ers

Sorry I didn't get on here to do my usual roundup last night... an unexpected night out went on a bit longer than scheduled. If I had done my round up when I got back:
    a) it wouldn't have made sense
    b) there would probably be pink elephants all over the front page:o:o

Anyway, back to normal now, so will do the update tonight, if that's OK with everyone.

I can see that thrifty fifty has made her target - no 2 - brilliant - proper mention coming along later (and your pink elephant, of course!)

And we have a new joiner. Welcome along Herbaholic (Herby) - as you have already seen we are slightly insane, but very friendly, and very pleased to have you on board. As you've already had a tremendous 3 NSDs this week, I'll count those in for your and sign you up for 6 this evening. What a lovely DH offering you that [STRIKE]bribe[/STRIKE] - ooops - incentive:j. Have a lovely evening - DH deserves a treat after all the work he's done.

Back later - be good everyone and enjoy the lovely weather:D:D:D

Well, I have failed miserably over the past 3 days. (Oops, I said the F word!)
We ran out of cheese Monday night, and I could not leave my 2 blokes (big un and little un) without cheese in the house so I left some money out for OH to get some on Tuesday. Then Wednesday I had to get some motion lotion, because without it I would not be able to go to work and earn a living. Today, my first day off this week, it was stock up on food day. I should get some fresh rolls tomorrow for packed lunches, but if I delay it till Saturday (when I always spend money anyway) I could claim another NSD...crafty mare that I am! Then Sunday should by rights see me hitting my target......we shall see.....

Spend day for me today :(

Pizza, ice-cream and milk for DS (the first two being a bribe/compensation for him staying 'home alone' with the dog over the weekend), plus frozen veg (remembered I was running desperately short, so picked up while I was already spending ;)) and some freshly cooked scones (at a seriously reduced price, 'cos there were only 3 in the pack instead of the 4 there were meant to be :D)

Realised as I was making tea that I forgot to pick up a loaf of bread though, and really don't want to go back out tonight. There's enough left for my toast tomorrow morning - but that'll be it, with none for DS over the weekend. But he rarely eats toast or sandwiches, so there's a pretty good chance that if I buy some today (or even tomorrow and ruin what could be an NSD) it won't even get opened until my breakfast on Tuesday - and I have bread in the freezer (of a type he won't eat) that I can pull out for then if I don't end up bringing any home with me from my weekend away.

As such I think I'm going to leave DS a few quid in case he needs anything, but I'm taking it out of my purse today...... and if I manage an NSD while I'm away I won't count any shopping he gets against it ;)

(Is thinking that might be stretching the rules, but have seen the suggestion made that people put money to one side on a spend day ready for kids activities/work collections - so perhaps it's a stretch I can get away with !?!?!?)

Also, just to say, never understimate the effect of this thread on peoples spending habits. It is helping me so very much. So a big thank you to the OP!
