    Lovely cake, well done you

I've just come across this thread, obviously too late for this month, shame it would have been ideal as I've spent most of it with my leg up on a stool as I recover from a broken kneecap. Not had a chance to spend too much... :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm thinking of putting myself down for 12 days next month...
Hello Moneypenny medium-smiley-119.gif..you're just in time to join The Krew for our monthly jollies, & there's no excuse with you being t'other end of the A23. You can do the London to Brighton Bike Race re-enactment on your unicycle :j Most of us are following a Star Wars theme & I don't think JaJa Binks has been taken yet...great way to hide the splint on yer leg. Can I be nosey & ask how you break a knee-cap :(..on second thoughts, perhaps it's best not to know the sordid details :rotfl:
And just what IS that donkey doing????
Best not to ask questions like that in Brighton, as it shows you up to be a tourist

LOL nothing so sordid or fun... I was out jogging last bank holiday monday and because of rubbish strewn around on the floor didn't see a missing brick in the paving. I went straight down and landed on my right knee. Managed to fracture it and knock a bit off the edge which promptly got stuck in the joint itself. Hence op last week to remove the debris.

Trust me I'd love to drive down to Brighton dressed as a star wars character - I usually go as normal and get mistaken for chewbacca:eek: However, can't drive and I'm about as interesting as Stephen Fry's love life is purported to be at present. Put me down for the next one though lol

Managed to spend some money today (grrrr) took sewing machine in for repairs and got material for dancing show dd and I are in. Am hoping sun stays away tomorrow then can get on with cross stitching some pressies, housework and schoolwork.

DH is starting Slimming world on doctors referral next week so did big shop today and am having a go at the healthy food stuff already. Am going to sit down with kids tonight and tomorrow and plan lots of lovely free activities for next week while we are all off, then off to a friends cottage in Lake District for a few days.

Planning not to spend much in June either - did 15 nsd in April, 12 in May and time to stretch myself a bit more next month - big aim for 20 in June please.
