Yesterday was NSD 21. Today was a spender, my first since the 15th.
All the problems we had at the begining of the week with the mortgage have all been ironed out and the money is now in my account ready to pay the lovely builders. I really wanted to go out for a meal to celebrate it all being sorted out, but decided this would be silly when we have food in the house. Thank you everyone for your support :A
Next month can I try for 20 NSDs.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases

Been trying to decide what to set my target at for next month.......
Keep coming back to 'set it to 1 - easy earn of dancing elephant. then set a new target of 2 - and equally easy earn of dancing banana' :rotfl:
But I'm pretty certain Spoon would shoot me down/ban me from the thread for even trying that one
So I've double checked my spreadsheet......
My original annual aim was 11/month. So that means 66 by end of June.
I've aready got 78 under my belt - so I could justify a zero target
(wonders if that gets me the dancing elephant before we even start, or if I have to spend every day in order to get it?)
But then I'm also trying to at least match my grocery NSDs from 2009, and I had 12 in June 2009
So I guess my dancing elephant target for June is 12 - and I'll keep my fingers crossed it all goes as smoothly as this monthCheryl0 -

Hopefully a day with my family will help my mood. Off to count my blessings
Hi pp - really sorry to hear that, hoping the day with your family helped to settle you again.

Thanks I am going to buy mine tomorrow and the OHs today as we have finally got paid. I am getting married in July and the rings are the last big expense.
For lunch I've made a quick chickpea curry but did not make loads but will take some snacks in as well. I used what i had at home rather than spoil a nsd and buy things.
Off to dinner and to see SATC 2 tonight with my £1 cinema vouchers. Will be a low spend day apart from the wedding ring!
Hi skaps, hope you are pleased with both rings when you get them and congratulations on your coming marriage. Hope you'll be very happy together :j:j
Well done for not spoiling your NSD and hope you enjoy the cinemaThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Spoon & I I have had a chat & she is happy to continue being in charge of The List, but if there's anything you'd like to see in the first post/page give us a shout & we'll try to track it down for you. I urge you to have a look at the ideas for sandwiches & home made snacks particularly with--hopefully!--picnic season growing closer, & there's always the Recipe Collection on the first page of the current month's Grocery Challenge; some of MrsMcAwber's bread ideas have to be seen to be believed at how easy they are to make for yourself. At least with ingredients in the house, you've an opportunity to whip something up rather than go & buy....
Thanks BigMumma
Agree with this.
To all you lovely NSD-ers out there, if you want anything added to this challenge, let me know and I'll do that happily. This challenge belongs to all of us, we're all responsible for keeping it going and making it the great place that it is.
You're all brilliant :A:AThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Now, Cheryl, that is sneaky ... and who says we're even going to have dancing elephants and bananas next month anyway? I might decide to do something entirely different and then your calculations could be completely wrong:rotfl::rotfl:The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time
