Spoon, thanks for the update. I'm a little sad, I was so looking forward to seeing my pink dancing elephant as you forgot to put him in but you have updated my total so I'm happy again. I'll just have to aim to get my dancing banana instead! Yay :jto you for hitting your target and raising it as well. I know you will do it :)

    Hi micron
Oooohhhh, nooooo... I'm so sorry, I forgot to add your dancing elephant :o:o:o:o:o

She's there now, dancing away and here again to say hello to youelephant.gif

The dancing banana will be there to join her when you get to your new target, as you will, I'm sure

And thanks, I'm really pleased with myself this month, did better than I expected:)

Sorry to disappoint you this morning, hope I've made up for it now;)

Wow, everyone is doing so well :T

I'm happy to report that yesterday was no. 7. Unfortunately, I have scuppered today (well DH has, as it was he who invited our friends round!) we're having a takeaway with our friends tonight. So as I knew I was going to spend anyway today, I've just popped into town and bought some paints and bits and bobs for the children for next week.

I'm still hoping to reach my make-do target of 10 though :)

    Happy Friday everyone x

  • Well, I've been off the radar for a little while - a couple of crazy weeks at work and play. Only just managing to keep up with the laundry.

So I was pretty sure that I'd blown any chance of getting my 10 NSD, but counting up from my diary (I have at least been keeping score) I'm on 8 :) Which means if nothing else, I have beaten my score for April :j

So just trying to figure out how to get two more in over the bank holiday weekend. I'm going to go for one today, and then maybe another on Sunday . . . But I'm away, so might not manage . . . we'll see

Hope everyone is out enjoying the sunshine!

OK am declaring now, went out, did work, came back.

Mind you the amount of people who gave me funny looks cos I had a pair of horses' blinkers on, no idea about MSE some folk!!!!
I am soooooooo pleased.gifcuz me muvva dragged me into the Pit of Temptation yesterday & I didn't part with a bean ta-daaaaaaa pleased.gifAlmost faltered at the whoopsies but didn't stop to look--no room in the fridge, freezer or my nsd calculator :D

    booooooooooooooooo

Was on track to have an NSD today and complete my 14th NSD to reach target as my new month starts tomorrow!

Did so well until 5pm when both DD's got awarded their next certificates in swimming and they cost £2.50 each!!! I could have left it to buy them next week but i think they might not have forgiven me!!!!

Oh well Declaring 1 day under target!!

I think i will stick with the 14 again for June!
Bit  you should have to pay--would have thought weekly subs covered that sort of thing--but what an excellent reason to break an nsd. Well Done Misses Littlekel :T & here's to many happy, SAFE hours in the wet stuff; I'm so envious cuz I've not managed more than floating along like a tree trunk if I'm on my back, or doing a very good impression of a concrete bridge support if trying to swim on me front :o The bottoms of swimming pools were very boring in those days & you couldn't see anything in the sea :( so don't even bother asking if I'm going for a paddle while we're in Brighton angry-smiley-008.gif
NSD today! Walked to work, ate lunch from home, signed contract for new (cheaper!!) flat, walked home, went to gym, came home and ate stuff I had.

    Very MSE day indeed
Ziss nuffa house-warming then :j Hope you've written all these down Spoon, cuz I've got muxt up with whose moving where & what wedding comes next wreck.gif Never been to so many parties; no small wonder The Offspring have put a revolving door on the computer cabinet

As for me, I have just one left to my Elephant. Yesterday was noomerr-O 18 & I'm hoping to fit in a couple more before Monday's end, but muvva hasn't found a top she likes yet & there's at least two markets between now & then :o

Be honest--would you have had the same reaction to getting something "free" before this Challenge? I know it sounds stupid, but I get such a buzz from the little things now that I really don't give a monkey's left nostril hair about having the latest wa-evva :p Adverts-shmadverts! YOU can't tell ME what I need OR when I need it much.gif

Spoon & I I have had a chat & she is happy to continue being in charge of The List, but if there's anything you'd like to see in the first post/page give us a shout & we'll try to track it down for you. I urge you to have a look at the ideas for sandwiches & home made snacks particularly with--hopefully!--picnic season growing closer, & there's always the Recipe Collection on the first page of the current month's Grocery Challenge; some of MrsMcAwber's bread ideas have to be seen to be believed at how easy they are to make for yourself. At least with ingredients in the house, you've an opportunity to whip something up rather than go & buy....
