Was on track to have an NSD today and complete my 14th NSD to reach target as my new month starts tomorrow!

Did so well until 5pm when both DD's got awarded their next certificates in swimming and they cost £2.50 each!!! I could have left it to buy them next week but i think they might not have forgiven me!!!!

Oh well Declaring 1 day under target!!

I think i will stick with the 14 again for June!

Another spend day for me :(

DS informed me this morning the milk was 'on the turn' again...... that's 3 lots in a row :(

Chucked the thermometer in, and it looks like the fridge thermostat could be on the blink -- even on the 'coldest' setting the thermometer isn't dropping into the ideal temperature range

Won't be cheap to replace either (if needed), as it's a built in fridge-freezer

Well, today is NSD no 17 !!! :j

Can't believe it myself..... could well pick up 3 NSDs over the weekend...which would be amazing!

Tomorrow is a spending day...and yes I have succumbed to getting the Mr T order early. I will only include what we use over the weekend in the May budget, and the rest will go into June...at least that is the plan! :D I had to do something, as I am working 9-5 on Tuesday...and we have run out of potatoes, pasta, milk (we will have after breakfast tomorrow), eggs, OJ, dried fruit, SR flour, not to mention all fruit & veg, fresh and frozen...aaargh! We have quite a bit of fish in the freezer,as well as some HM quiche, so there is enough meat...it's just everything else!!

It is having DS2 home that's scuppered everything...he has eaten EVERYTHING (well, almost!), and has already noticed the pounds going on (been busy revising and not going to the gym so much, but still munching :o) At least I think he has at last realised he has over-done things a bit too much lately!!

Right, off to get some sewing done, night night all. x

NSD number 15 for me Spoon - only 2 to go, which will hopefully be Saturday and Monday, the last day ofthe month

We popped to the auction this morning to put in one of the sofas we used before our 'new' one, so that will be in Saturday's auction - fingers crossed for that - however, someone else bought hubbie a cup of tea so I did not have to spend my money - he really can't go in there without having a tea or coffee - I'm alright, I have just plain hot water when I am out and they don't charge for that!! :j

Everyone does seem to be doing really well this month don't they Spoon - it must be all your encouragement and hard work ..... not to mention the dancing pink elephants and dancing bananas .................... 3Dogs wanders off to another thread muttering about pink elephants and dancing bananas.... mad ...... mad ..... mad

NSD No 23 for me today which means I have finally hit my target :j yay!!! Can't wait to have my dancing elephant and I am starting to get excited about getting a dancing banana as well. Got two spend days ahead of me but.... still got a few more days left in May so I'm going to try for another two on Sunday/Monday. Here's hoping! Thanks Spoon :A and all you NSDers for all your encouragement :T. Before this challenge I could never image not spending money 23 days of the month.

I have hit my target! I would like to thank the cast, the crew, the lighting people, makeup, wardrobe, sound effects, electricians, the producer, the director, the screenplay writers, my family, my friends, my cat and my chickens, without whom none of this would have been possible. This award is not for me, it is for all of you, and I love you all mwah! mwah!

    Love it, Nargle :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Yep..most of us can relate to that too :p but like most things, that feeling of achievement becomes so addictive that you wonder why you hadn't tried this Challenge before.
To all our Newbies this month, can I say Well Done :T Getting to Target is fun but the lessons that are learned getting there, are the real prize. Be good to see you back for next month....

Good Luck with the Wedding Urg & May Your Life Together Be Paved With Happiness x

Well said, BigMumma. The elephants and bananas are fun, but the lessons learned in getting them (ie, the change to our old ways) are what really matter.

Good luck and best wishes, urg, from all of us

Hi 3Dogs, I think it's the thought of a dancing pink elephant spurring everyone along this month, never mind the dancing banana:rotfl:

You're right, though, everyone is doing really well, think the collective spirit is helping enormously - great support network developing which is brilliant. Think we all deserve a group hug for that.

    WELL DONE EVERYONE

PS: love that dancing smiley, 3Dogs, might use him next month;)
