    Hi BB
Lovely builders - that kind of thing restores your faith in human nature - there are still some good people around:T

Glad you're feeling a bit less stressed. Hoping you get some good news soon.

They are all lovely guys, even if some days I feel I need an urn and a catering size tea pot. I'm really going to miss them when we are finished. They are a positive bunch and the sooner I can let them know we have money the better I'll feel.

Heard nothing about the mortgage today, so I'm thinking no news is good news.

Today has been lovely, met up with a group of friends and went for a stroll through a local wood to enjoy the bluebells, then all back to a friends house for tea and cake, yum yum yum. Also NSD 20

    Hi Spoon,

A new target sounds good, but I'm not sure if I can fit more than 1 NSD in now. Haircut today, possible baby arrival for a friend on friday. I haven't bought myself anything big since payday. The haircut is the big treat this month. Oh ok then, new challange is for 2 nsds by the end of the month. Go banana!

    :)

Made it another yesterday, into double figures at last - 10!! Boy, its a struggle this month! Being on hols has really knocked me off course! I need bread and milk desperately so will need to shop today. Im determined to get my other two to reach my target this month so I will need to plan very carefully! Just as well I like a challenge!

    Have a great day everyone!:)

We-el-ll..good news is I managed No 17 on Tuesday...bad news is I've completely blown the GC out of the water  We've a store that is a bit like the AppF00d site & it's very hit & miss what they have in but they do milk, sugar & lovely eggs at good prices. So on Monday off we trundle to stock up, & if you spend over £20 the sugar drops 20p per bag :jBy putting muvva's bits through with mine, it was fourteen quid over but they had the glorious ham we like...& lamb grill steaks...& chokitt cakes ..but like everywhere else, their prices have gone up on average 20p per item

Then yesterday me muvva wanted to go clothes shopping--thankfully there are no local sail makers so nothing to tempt my ample frame :o--& MrS sent some £8 off a £40 shop, so we called in there too to avoid the Bank Holiday crush. Still, I shouldn't need anything more till next week now...

Looks like it's going to be fancy dress this weekend--too cold for 'that' Brighton Beach. Are we still meeting outside the Sea Life Centre or did we decide we'll do The Lanes first?

My 6th NSD gooooo me :)I feel rather stupid feeling so chuffed that I haven't spent any money, but I'm chuffed to bits with my control, so I've met my little target which for a just pop to As*a everyday for a just one thing and coming out with a bagful is an achievement, so now I'm curious, how many more NSD's this month do I need to clock up to get a dancing banana? My month ends on the 27th so from the 28th can you put me down for 14 please Spoon :)

    Herby x
Yep..most of us can relate to that too :p but like most things, that feeling of achievement becomes so addictive that you wonder why you hadn't tried this Challenge before.
To all our Newbies this month, can I say Well Done :T Getting to Target is fun but the lessons that are learned getting there, are the real prize. Be good to see you back for next month....

Am declaring no 14 early today - all I need to get is some salady bits and they're out of the grocery budget, which is already being taken into account. Need to go into town later to pick up scripts but if I need to spend, I'll use points not cash.
