Come on then 3Dogs, what's this 'unexpected holiday of a lifetime' that's suddenly appeared in your sig? (point me in the direction of the right post if you've already mentioned it!)

Spoon, 3Dogs has a great dancing werewolf if you're interested!

OK LFV - hubbie and I have been invited on holiday as guests of my cousin to celebrate her Golden Wedding Anniversary - she has hired the Royal Scotsman/Orient Express for a 5 day tour of Scotland with everything included (accomm, food, drinks, entertainment) so all we have to pay for is travel up to Edinburgh, kennels fees for 3 dogs, some flashy clothes, and any spending we might need on excursions including private tasting at whisky distillery, the laird as a guide around his castle, etc - we have checked it out online and it is superb - just waiting for the brochure my cousin posted to us today so we can start drooling over it !!!!

Which dancing werewolf ? party0033.gif .................. ah that one !

Edit: Oooops nearly forgot to report NSD number 16 - one off my target but will get that on Monday

  • Had a bit of a spendy day yesterday. Definitely not going to be making my target this month but shall try to get 2 more NSDs (i.e. today and tomorrow). Looking back through my spending diary, I think it was all the birthdays that got me this month and the little spends. Some days it was only a £1 or 2 that ruined it for me and often that was a social thing, going for a coffee with friends etc.

    Must try harder in June.

Hoping that tomorrow will be an NSD for me, yesterday wasn't and today I've decided to go on a new diet so need to go and pick up a few bits from the recipes in the magazine that I don't have in and research alternatives to things like grapefruit & tomato juice and whole trout YUK!

I'm stuck on the M1 at present, hopefully will arrive in Brighton later today or in the early hours of tomorrow, anyone coming from my direction, I'm the one faffing with a laptop researching calorie counts sat on the back of a dragon robot (just pretend it's an AT-AT (DH didn't have time to build me one, so I took the closest thing out of his garage stash)) dressed as an Ewok "Beechawawa"! I've got supplies for my favourite tipple "Jelly Baby Suicide" cocktails and a supply of nibbles, ohh and plenty of carrots for the donkeys.

    Herby x

Just a quick good morning as I report my 12th NSD whilst zooming down the A1 in a southerly direction on my Harley Davidson with the wind blowing through my Womble fur.....bit low on petrol, can anyone give me a tow to Brighton?

As we have visitors arriving tonight I might end up spending a bit of cash tomorrow as I am sure we will all go out somewhere. Therefore I am weighing in at 12 out of 10 NSDs for May. Put me down for 12 in June please, Spoon.

3Dogs - what a fab sounding holiday in Jockinese land, take some foul weather gear though as even in summer it can rain a bit. I can just see it now - 3Dogs in pink lurex evening frock with matching pink lurex wellies, doing the funky werewolf on the dance floor.......

3 Dogs - that sounds amazing! Hope you have an amazing time, Im drooling over it for you.

Today wont be an NSD, as we are going to a BBQ at a friends house and need to buy a train ticket and some drinks, but tomorrow should be. Cutting it close this month, I know!

Uuurrghh....... where am I?! Last I remember I was under the pier with PDD drinking homebrew on Friday night - I seem to have missed a day! I do have an alien following me round though - better return it to PDD asap!

Gonna wander round Brighton now looking for a collection of Ewoks, pink elephants, Wombles, golfcarts, aliens etc - I'm thinking you shouldn't be too hard to spot?! Thats assuming I'm still in Brighton that is :D

Oh, I saw some terrified old ladies earlier - what has Elfen been up to?!

Last saw my mighty steed with the donkey ride man, he was going to stick some big ears on her and hire her out for me

Now if someone could just tell me my name......
Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon ....
