Looks a nice family home. The only thing that would put me off is that the garden looks small for a family.

Can't decide if that drive through garage is a waste of space or useful. I'd be tempted to shut the rear door permeantly and make that a garage and use the garage in the rear for storage/ teenage den.

Looks lovely, though that up above view of the garden does make it look small.

There is a big open space in right front of our home about 6 acres. Should we put that picture as well??

House is lovely, where I live you would only just get a decent 3 bed for that money.

the garden wouldnt put me off, its got a garage, the covered drive/garage thing and to be honest that gardens a nice manageable size

I can't see the feedback differing much from either of the other threads you created in the last few days. All I see is this listing has the price back up, from it's previous cut.

  • Hi, I read your previous threads but didnt get round to posting.

Everything looks very well presented but something just isnt grabbing me and I think it is the lack of any real colour - it seems a bit dull. I love blacks, whites and neutral colours but there is no life without a little colour.

Also I am a little confused, you have changed agents but lots of your pictures are still tilted (on a slant, for example pic 1, 4, 5, 8). The shower shot and garden shot cut the tops off the picture.

The house itself looks lovely and very well staged for the shots, I think it's the shots (odd angles and tilted) and the lack of colour in the way of accessories that arent doing it for me. It could well be a good blank canvas for anyone, but you need to entice viewers in. With a 2nd hand newbuild like this you need to sell the wow factor and the lifestyle. So while I am sure it looks fab when you stand in it, the pics could do with a bit more life in them.

Have you had any feedback from actual viewings rather than just about your ad?

I don't know the area, but Rightmove has 186 4 bed properties in Corby that are cheaper than yours.

No floor plans. Why? At this price, I'd certainly expect to see them

also it looks like there are lots of new builds of a similar spec at the same price round your area. You need to price below them to get some interest. We spent over 10k doing up a 2 bed semi to a very high standard. We bought in 2007 and sold for 2k less than we paid for it in 2009. I think we did very well. And our changes were not just cosmetics/decor/carpets/tiling. What you have to bear in mind is that yes you paid for them as upgrades, but they are 2nd hand (albeit in good condition) and do not increase the value, only the saleability at the right price.

As someone who checked RM every day (when I was buying) for new properties coming on, I would notice if you had put your price up, even if you changed agents.
