You have to build them first, so unless we are in the middle of a building boom it looks very unlikely. UK builders dumped their stock Summer 2008.0 -
The problem's not the housing, or the price. It's the location. They're in the middle of nowhere, with nothing else there. No work, descent transport links, no public transport, no shops, miles from schools, parks, anything community orientated...etc etc...etc0

If I was looking for a holiday home Id buy one
£185k would only get you a tiny one bed cottage in cornwallAnd probably quicker for your average Londoner to get to 50miles South of Dublin than to Cornwall. This is the answer, they just need to build a few beaches, an eden dome thing, and recruit some hostile yokels, market to second home buyers. job done
