But you can't keep taking expensive items to the counter and ask them to scan the prices. They'll get pi**ed off with you pretty quickly, lol.

Then find all the ones you think might be reduced and take them ALL to the counter at once!
However most of the reduced items are normally kept in locked cabinets because of their value (!) so you have to ask staff to open them.

I was thinking of going to Lakeside but kiddies only just went back to school, would have been a bit of a challenge asking them to be patient while I searched out bargains. Thanks for the heads-up :j

To save wasted journeys looking for these bargins i'm doing a search on this thread of my local stores i.e now know not worth a trip to Portsmouth, Fareham, Southampton, Bournemouth.
Thought i would post this in case anyone else hadn't thought of doing this and to save them some petrol.

I was looking at the argos mp3 player and this thread was missed by me maybe I thoght it was same as boots grabit, if I had seen it I would atleast have got something of electrical, but not to woried everything happens for a reason, there might be better bargains around the corner.

Are all the Ipod shuffles etc reduced in Boots??? I spotted some yesterday but didnt have time to ask.....may be back today!

only the 1gb - most have the 512mb but scanning full price at £49

Sony Cybershot cameras were reduced from £150 odd to £90 in one of my local stores.

Anyone know if these have come down further?
