Not in the stores I shop in. Not once have I encountered someone who got !!!!!! off when I asked them to scan stuff through. In fact, most of the time, they were only too happy to help and found it a challenge to find the reduced items. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

The only iPod's reduced to £10 are the 1GB Shuffles (Green packaging). The 512mb version is still £49.99.
All Nano's and iPod Video's (5th Generation) are FULL PRICE, as these are current stock. (Boxes are very slim as the current version does not include a dock or charger).
The only other versions reduced are the discontinued iPod Photo (Square white box about 8" x 8") and the iPod Mini. Basically Boots shouldn't still be stocking these, so you will be very lucky if the SA's have overlooked them. Just make sure you have a good look in all the glass cabinet displays.
On a seperate issue to iPods, did I read somewhere that the Boots Electrical Department had been bought out? If so, I wonder when the website will drop their prices, or is it just the stores that will not stock electrical? Some days you're the bird......and some days you're the statue :cool:0 -
My nephew has just bought a 1gb iPod from the Purley Way store in Croydon (last one there) - £10.
I'm definitely favourite auntie today0 -
There were a few reduced Ipod accessories (e.g. armbands, skins, etc) at Boots, Victoria Centre, Nottingham today but no players or other high value stock.0

And basically told me it was tough luck that I bought it 2 days before it was offered at a lower price and she couldn't do owt about it
fed up now
happy now :j
just want to say thank you to all you posters, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have just got the xbox i bought for £74.99 reduced to £10.
I called CS today and spoke to a lovely lady who said it shouldn't be a problem to do a refund/buy back at my local store (even though I didn't buy it from there and they don't sell electricals). The lady at CS gave me a customer reference number and told me should there be any probs to get them to call CS with the number.
So off I went back to the same store I was refused 2 days prior.
There face was a picture when they rang CS to see if it was right especially the women who told everybody when i arrived that i'd been b4 and was told it couldn't be done. I was made to feel uncomfortable.....but an xbox for £10 i think i'll quickly get over it.
hope this helps someone else......
p.s. if you don't get joy from the person you speak to at CS leave it a while and call back until you do....
thank you all again :beer:They've got cars big as bars

I called CS today and they say there are no Ipod 40GB Photos left anywhere in the country. Apparently, this was discontinued ages ago and shouldn't have been left in stock anywhere. The person who got one for £10 was very lucky, as the store had obviously overlooked it up until now.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

Hi,
Went to Taunton store today and they have some Ipod Nano accessories and some Ipod shuffle battery packs (£3) and docking stations (£4.75) and cover twin packs (£2), but no actual Ipods. Also a few mobile phones on Vodaphone, T Mobile and 3.
They had quite a lot of reduced chocolates including Lindt, Cadburys and Green and Blacks which have a decent date on them (I got some for Christmas) and a basket of odds and ends - make up, after shave etc. all of which was 50p -£1
HTH
Ooh and loads of different hair straighteners - some from £29.99 to £9.990 -
