I had a mega helpful cs advisor and she checked ALL stores for xboxes and none are showing now as having them in stock. Darn it.

I was told that 5 days ago. I rang my local, they confirmed stock and I went and picked an xbox up. See my post on page 28. The main CS don't seem to be able to check stock correctly.

i did get 2 lots of ipod speakers in cardiff on saturday, one for the wifes shuffle and one for a 4th generation one, both £5 but not much else there at all.
Trophies are like Buses, you wait 26 years.
Then 3 come along at once!!!!
  • Are these reduced nationally as my local Boots in Bristol is not showing as having reduced IPODS but they have reduced all the accessories that go with it. Too much of a chicken to get them to do a price check as it states they are full price but others on here seem to have picked them up for £10. They also have the 512mb but another post states that these are still full price. Can anyone shed any light?
  • Went into Swindons Town centre boots today... saw a very empty electrical glass cabinet and bit the bullet and asked the girl if they sold Xboxes.. she said.. with a smile.. that they did.. until apparently a staff member on friday was buying one for himself, noticed that they were only £10 and the rest flew off the shelves.. staff probably grabbed the chance. Doh doh doh just wish I had read this thread on friday and ran down there! Checked 3 other boots nearby.. and nothing.

They had 512Mb Ipod Shuffles, no note of sale price.. so asked the girl to check, she buzzed it through and advised still full price.

I managed to get 2 Ipod shuffles 1gig in Yeovil today for £10 each, the girl said that they had only been reduced this morning, and there were some more in the back.

They had some Ipod accessories reduced too, but nothing for the shuffles except pale pink and green cases.

HTH and thanks for all the hints.

Thanks but I didn't want a pre-owned one as it's for my sons birthday. He will be 13 and can spot a pre-owned item from a mile away. I'll soon build the points balance back up again :D

A lot of people say that... we had a guy adamant that the xbox in our cupboard was new, and wanted it at £59.99, took ages to realise it was preowned, we get some thrilling pieces, we had a green one in mint condition, wrapping, foam and all :D

As for the Babylis ceramic hair straightner, if its the dome ended blue and white one, they're useless, took it 7 hours to straighten my hair, my new £30 Nicky Clark ones do it in 1. (Very thick wavy long hair)
