Boots in Brighton are also clearing loads of FCUK make up and hair products.
All the games consoles are now gone,

went into trafford centre (manchester) today and got an xbox bundle for £74.99 ( 2 games, 2 pads)there was still 1 box on the clearence shelf which i was told was also a bundle by a guy on the photo desk.

Went into Boots on Fargate, Sheffield today. They had 1 dab radio, an xbox and 1 gameboy micro, left. That was around 4pm. The micro was just the empty cardboard cover with the price on it, but console is behind counter. Still loads of ipod stuff and karaoke machines too.

Have you called Boots customer services yourself and checked? Also, if you bought a PS2 off someone here, unless they also sent the proof of sale, you'd have no guarentee, and would have little luck if the thing went faulty.

Have a look around the rest of the forum threads and see if you can pick up a different bargain

I totally disagree, This is supposed to be a community. If more peeps on here helped each other out i would use these forums more often but sadly they have became to popular with ebayers and the rest of us suffer.

Thing is, by time someone buys the ps2, adds postage (best to put something of that value as recorded), and then people have to put into provision thier travel costs... its getting near the same as finding a good deal in a store somewhere, and the latter would have you a years guarentee, the first wouldn't unless the receipt was sent as well. Im new, but i've been buying cheap games for a couple of people here and i'm posting them on, not looking for a profit, just to help. Also a lot of people are after playstations for family presents, if someone bought a playstation for half price, are they going to choose thier kids, or a stranger? If he was a well established member of this page, and well known/reconised, people would have probally enqired, but the fact he's pretty much making his first posts well after the savings were first spotted that go against him, wheras, its most likely going to be quicker for him to call up Boots customer services, ask them, and ask for it to be transferred to a store near hom, won't take long.

HiCan anyone please recommend me some small ipod type speakers for the NWA 3000 20gb Sony mp3 player?I managed to get the last one although it did have some scratches on and they reduced it by a further £5, which is ok for me.I have tried a few out and the sound quality of some of the MP3 speakers in currys were not that good.thanks you

boots don't transfer goods, thats what they told me over the phone.... i got to admit the service in their stores is really rubbish compared to the customer service line... anyway after a lot of travelling and visiting 5 stores i only got the nintendo micro.... was going to sell it to someone at cost but might just keep it now, cos its a nice size and u can get classic games like street fighter 2 on it....

Of course the other issue about helping others is that this site has a policy on people NOT swapping personal details. So it would be against this sites T&Cs to do this via this forum.

I would be able to benefit hugely if that kind of 'trade' was allowed, as I am very 'geographically challeneged', but despite this I still get some great bargains online and am happy with that. Every time someone posts a bargain they are being helpful to others - not being able to send on a bargain doesn't change that IMO.
