Thanks very much for the info - not interested in the games consoles but hubby is overjoyed with his Sony Walkman 20GB MP3 player! I am also really pleased with my iPod Nano lanyard earphones that will make a real difference to me at work...also the CDs that I bought at quarter price. We also have a Bush DAB clock radio stashed for a birthday gift.

We would not have bothered looking in Boots had it not been for the posts here - and it was worth returning to stores as a few bits and pieces had been put out after our first visit - some items were not displayed in the obvious places - they had been put near to electrical beauty products (even though they were usually displayed near digital cameras, etc).

I did ask CS why some iPod accessories were reduced and not others and was told that this was because those items were not being stocked in future by those stores, while the other accessories were.

We got the MP3 player from High Wycombe and the other items from Slough.
There were still several items (small iPod accessories, etc), CDs, DVDs and many gift items left in Slough but very little in HW - they did have a couple of those little gadgets to play an iPod through left yesterday in HW (shuffle and general iPods) and the Roberts clock radios, plus the original XBox (not 360) at £75.

Doncaster has one xbox on the shelf but says £149 on the shelf..May scan cheaper..As regards to Ipod stuff it's not worth the trip..They only have ipod mini or shuffle arm bands and ipod docking station...They had an ipod speaker set but this was still £14..They had 2 pop idol karaoke machines £19.99 each..

I have just been to boots in robin park, wigan
they have two xbox bundles left at £75 but still says £150
they defo scan though at £75 tho

Boots Peterborough have a whole stack of karaoke machines at £19.99
If you go up the escalator then turn right into the part of the store where clearance items are against the wall. Go as far as you can and they are on your right in the corner.

if u grab some of the smellies special from boots at reduced price and they have the little christmas 3 for 2 sticker on them do u still get them 3 for the price of 2..?? ty for anyone who can help
