Just to reply to the HaroldHamsum post earlier - I was the original poster of this thread. I got what I wanted, but it wasn't something that was largely advertised - so I thought that I would share it with others. Personally, I have done no complaining about ebayers etc. and I thought that this was exactly the point of moneysavingexpert - to share offers that might otherwise have been missed.

If I had kids and realised that I could have saved money on Christmas presents but they had sold out, then I would be annoyed if I couldn't have got something at a third of the original price.

Anyway, in Oxford today, a lot of the toys have been reduced to a half or a third as well, including some of the Lego Exo-force toys (to £4.99) and fully working mini key rings of Hungry Hungry Hippos and Connect 4 (99p). There were also Pixel Chicks Road Trips for £7.49 and things like a Lego Clickits pack which had a disposable camera, brush, party invites and a load more for £4.99. I also went in with my mum, and they had reduced socks and stockings, and what they're not advertising is that a 3 for 2 offer still applies on them. So, grabbem while you can!

  • well i've been on the trail here in bournemouth and yesterday managed to pick up a pure bug dab radio for the princely sum of £36.00. its the white one.
it was just sitting there in the corner on its own! i mean i couldn't leave it!
    what a bargain!

Yes wavefinder, I see it as your duty to house it and power it ;) - is your name from the Psion wavefinder? In which case you've been a DAB fan for AGES ;)

There are some iPOD mini arm bands (just under a fiver) and a choice of a pink gameboy SP or a tribal SP bundles for £25 and £27 respectively at Boots in the centre of Cambridge (Lions Yard). I'm not sure what the pink one comes with but the tribal comes with Sonic 3 and the Simpsons road rage games, it's a bargain.
