According to Boots customer services this morning....
Nottingham Boots (Riverside retail Park) had a PSP value pack in stock
Oxford Street, London and Bournemouth (Castle Point) both have Sony 20gb MP3 players and
Oxford street had a Nintendo DS bundle in stock.
They are all too far away for me and wont transfer branches.. maybe someone else can snap them up.0 -

this has happened in the past - Boots seem to bulk all of the deals to 1 or 2 stores in each specific area...Me i'm always after a good deal.. :rotfl:0 -

Sorry to dredge this up again, but it's a recurring theme, and the naivety of the people who post bargains on here and then complain about ebayers etc grabbing them all up is astounding.
I was viewing MSE long before I joined, and previous to that I'd long kept an eye on the sort of unusual/unadvertised high street bargains that are typical of the type posted here.
I hate to have to say it,but MSE itself has all but killed my interest in bargain hunting.
I just know now that when any of these unusual sales come up someone will blurt it on MSE,just to boost their profile and gain some virtual thanks, and long before I get a chance to look at the stuff being posted about.
Then,as likely as not the original poster of the bargain spot will moan about all the 'nasty ebayers' taking unfair advantage of the info they've freely given.
The answer is simple - if they don't want people taking advantage of this information, *don't broadcast it*.
I get the distinct impression that most of the bargain spotters who post on here aren't really the slightest interested in saving money (or making it). They just get a kick out of being the first to post something on the forum.
Ok,I know I've said the unsayable., but I think it's sometimes worth reiterating that there is a downside to MSE.
It's become a victim of its own success. It's the goose that laid a golden egg...and ate it.
It's catch 22.
My own solution to this conundrum is to keep schtuum. :cool:0
