Oh i have tel you, i have three lots of salad leaves growing in containers !!!:j:j:j We all love eating homegrown salad leaves, taste so much nicer than the shops.I am so sad.
I'm also sadly very excited by the salad leaves I'm growing that have sprouted like mad this week

Hello all,
Hope that you have had a good birthday Moggins.
Windy and overcast to-day but not too cold, meant to rain later.
Bit of good news this morning, DS1, DDIL1 and DGD2 are coming for the weekend, haven't seen them in a couple of months so looking forward to that.
Dinner to-day was steak with stirfried bok choi, mushrooms and onions, with mash....enjoyed it immensely.
Diva...can't challenge the ticket the *loo*y notice was just beside the car, my mind was just on other things. Glad that you are feeling better day by day.
Welcome Mrsmuggy, you will like it here.
Cranky....think that is a good decision if you can manage it..for both of you.
Ladygrim...thinking of you, especially for to-morrow.
N9eav...glad to hear that DS is improving.
Csarina....glad you got what you wanted in Aldi...your garden must be really something, you are both putting so much time and effort into it.
Flutterby...were will you be in Italy....I will be in Sardinia from 30th May for 10 days.
PenPin....sorry that you are having a rough patch....my DD1 will be 40 in December.....now I should be feeling old.
NPM....sorry to hear that you are having migraines again and that Noah has been upset by the lunch thing....surely they can help in some way.
Can't remember who mentioned the cheese sandwich thing....never heard of anything more stupid in my life...I would be having words if it were my child....most schools I know of here don't allow cakes, crisps or glass bottles and I can see a reason for that but a cheese sandwich????
My whole house needs to be decorated....will have to get someone in to do it as OH has abolutely no interest in doing anything in that line....if I'm honest I don't think that he has very much energy. Not looking forward to the cost, maybe I should just think in terms of one room at a time.
Am sure that I have ignored several people....apologies and hugs to all.

Thanks Chick. :A Sometimes you just discover that people aren't quite the sort of person you thought they were.
Really just popped back to say that I forgot to mention Cranky earlier. It's a brave decision Cranky but not the first you've made in recent months. I hope it all works out for you and the elf. xxxxxxx

Hi! I'm new
Hope everyone's having a nice evening.
Old Style for the day, hmm. Cooked my tea from scratch and have leftovers in the fridge for tomorrow's lunch, if that counts? Bit basic though. Would have liked to do some cooking over the Bank Holiday but freezer space is very limited, and full! Might do some baking, but then I will only eat it ALL...
And now I feel like a rebel for having cheese in a sandwich earlier! :rotfl:0 -
Evening, everyone. I know it's been a while since I last posted but everyone has these moments sometimes. Forgive me. Here's a quick run down of what's been happening...
A constant cough which hasn't gone in a month.
One of the buses I have to take to get to work is being cancelled so I've had to try and make alternative arrangements.
I have been cooking, but because I've not had the energy and it has been stuff for the freezer to make quick meals.
Pilates. Exercising a bit to try and make my joints a little less stiff.
Tonight I'm relaxing - the debate is on TV but I'm kinda dozing. I've been trying to catch up on posting on here as I have missed everyone.
Anyway, hope everyone has a nice evening. Take care
Kitchenbunny xx
