Have just updated the links to include some suggested by Bride2be24 on another thread. These are shinephotography (£350 for all day), diamond class hire car hire (some good deals for hiring for a short period of time) Diamond Discos (East yorkshire area from £140 upwards) and koko-beauty for wedding day makeup.

Hi,

I live in North Yorkshire and will be getting married next year in Whitby. I am hoping to have a vintage style wedding and have been searching for a vintage china hire company which covers the North Yorkshire/ North East area.... whilst searching the net for vintage china I stumbled across your fab idea to list suppliers etc within the Yorkshire area.

You have listed a facebook link under venue decoration to The Vintage China Cabinet but I almost missed the link as it is a little misleading and could do with the actual website listed. But thankyou so much for the link, I am going to book an appointment to view the china next week as it looks to be just what I am looking for. I will post my findings to you next week...

I wonder if anyone could recommend any venues with a 'vintagy' feel?

Hi Linda,

Many thanks for your quick reply. I love The Vintage China Cabinet too, their china looks absolutely gorgeous and I just adore the knitted tea cosies. I stumbled across their website yesterday on this site, but the website is not listed on the list of suppliers, only a facebook link, I almost missed it. I have had a reply from them just this morning and will be viewing the china on Sunday, can't wait.

Thanks for the other link too, I will have a good look later....I noticed the 'Eat Me' luggage labels...I have been looking all over for those as I like the idea of a Alice in Wonderland Vintage Tea Party.

I will let you know how I get on on Sunday, can't wait as I love anything vintage.

Hi Bonnie. Knew I had this flyer somewhere, just found it.
The Marvellous Tea Dance Co. They look TOTALLY amazing for private functions. (no idea on cost however)

The Vintage Beauty Parlour. Specialists in classic coiffures and powdered perfection. Bethany Jane Davies 07791 703535 or e mail daviesbethany@rocketmail.com

No web site for this I'm afraid .
