why didn't he do this?
The media would then vilify him even more for being arrogant and up his own backside. People say that they want politicians to drop the charade and tell it like it is, but if they do it's spread all over the news in seconds.
No such thing as bad publicity? :rotfl:0 -

Whats the point of this?
We all know what he thinks of her! He said it in the back of the car !!!!!!!
Just a pointless spin excercise to make him look good, hopelessly back-firing and making him look an even bigger tw a t !
He should have just brushed it aside and moved on.
I'll bet he has had to cancel further engagements this afternoon, and poor old Gillian has had to put off Gladys and Brenda popping round for a cuppa tea and a slice of cake !Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

Why make stuff up? I can see the live video and there is no poster.0 -
I would have more respect for the guy if he said it to her face but no he wishes her family well and then slags her off.
What utter nonsense. You really never found yourself in a situation where it was better to hold your tongue and let off steam afterwards in private? Such situations are a normal part of life, be it the boss, the mother-in-law, or a potential voter. It's called discretion, we'd all love to tell people what we really think all the time, but a person who does will get nowhere in life. I see nothing wrong with what Brown said to that woman, or what he said later in private - the only problem is that the private bit became public.0 -
